    摘要: An electric double layer capacitor includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode which faces the positive electrode and is isolated therefrom, and an electrolyte solution. The positive electrode includes a first current collector of a metal foil and a first polarizable electrode layer on the first current collector, the first polarizable electrode layer containing a phosphorus compound. The negative electrode includes a second current collector of a metal foil and a second polarizable electrode layer on the second current collector. The electrolyte solution, with which the first and second polarizable electrode layers are impregnated, has fluorine-containing anions as an electrolyte solute.

    摘要: A polarizable electrode includes a collector and a polarizable electrode layer having a thickness of 5 μm or more to 130 μm or less on the surface of the collector. The polarizable electrode layer includes a first binder composed of at least one of an ammonium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyvinyl alcohol, methylcellulose, and a hydroxylpropyl cellulose resin, and a second binder composed of at least one of a latex, a fluoride-based polymer, a urethane resin, and an olefin-based resin. The content of the first binder is 5% by weight or less with respect to the total weight of the solid part, and the content of the second binder is 1% by weight or more and 5% by weight or less.

    摘要: A capacitor includes a capacitor element, a bottomed, cylindrical, metallic case, a metallic terminal plate, and a sealing rubber. A flange is provided along the outer circumference of the terminal plate. The flange is brought into contact with the bottom face of the sealing rubber for positioning. The case is wrung from the outside thereof so as to compress the sealing rubber. The sealing rubber has at least one of a ring-shaped top projection wall projecting between the metallic case and the terminal plate on the top face thereof, and a ring-shaped bottom projection wall projecting between the metallic case and the flange on the bottom face thereof.

    摘要: A pressure regulating valve is provided on a terminal plate of a capacitor. This pressure regulating valve includes a gas permeable sheet, a valve body made of silicone rubber, a packing, and a cap. The gas permeable sheet that prevents permeation of electrolyte is provided so as to close a hole created in the terminal plate. The packing is interposed between the valve body and the gas permeable sheet, and is made of an elastic material with moisture permeation resistance higher than that of silicone rubber. The cap is fixed onto the terminal plate and covers the valve body and the packing such that the valve body and the packing are retained in a compressed state with respect to the terminal plate. The valve body and the packing are provided away from the gas permeable sheet.

    摘要: A capacitor includes a metal case and a terminal plate. The metal case accommodates a capacitor element together with a driving electrolyte and is joined to one of the electrodes of the capacitor element at its inner bottom surface. The terminal plate is joined to the other electrode at its inner surface so as to seal the opening of the metal case. The terminal plate is provided with a pressure regulating valve also functioning as a driving-electrolyte filling hole. The pressure regulating valve includes a ring-shaped elastic member which is pressed into the wall formed on the terminal plate.

    摘要: A pressure control valve provided on a terminal plate of a capacitor includes a filter, a valve body and a cap. The filter is provided so as to close a through-hole disposed in a terminal plate and is composed of a gas permeable sheet preventing permeation of the electrolyte solution. The valve body is formed of an elastic material, has a cylindrical part and a bottom part, and is disposed so that the bottom part covers the through-hole of the terminal plate. The cap is fixed to the terminal plate, covers the valve body, and holds the valve body in a composed state with respect to the terminal plate. The cap is provided with a vent hole. The valve body and the filter are spaced apart from each other.

    摘要: An electric double layer capacitor includes first and second collectors, first and second polarizable electrode layers provided on the first and second collectors, respectively, a separator having an insulating property provided between the first and second polarizable electrode layers, and an electrolytic solution impregnated in the separator and the first and second polarizable electrode layers. A lower electric potential is to be applied to the second collector than to the first collector. The electrolytic solution contains anion including fluorine as electrolyte. The separator includes a separation layer facing the second polarizable electrode layer, and an inhibition layer facing the first polarizable electrode layer. The separation layer contains cellulose. The inhibition layer is made of material different from that of the separation layer. The inhibition layer prevents cellulose from decomposing. This electric double layer capacitor prevents the separator from dissolving, having an excellent long-term reliability.
