Abstract: A control device for controlling an automatic transmission determines whether a fluid pressure of the operation fluid acting on a friction engagement element that is switched from a released-state to an engaged-state is in a fully-decreased state. If determined that the fluid pressure is not in a fully-decreased state, control of a manual valve is delayed. In such manner, the hydraulic circuit is switched by the manual valve after the full decrease of the fluid pressure of the operation fluid acting on the just-engaged friction engagement element. As a result, an abrupt rise of the fluid pressure is prevented and a shock in the automatic transmission is reduced.

Abstract: An abnormality monitoring apparatus includes a drive circuit unit, a current detection unit, a current cutoff unit, a first control unit, and a second control unit. The drive circuit unit switches an energization to the motor winding. The current detection unit detects a motor current, which is a current flowing through the motor winding. The current cutoff unit cuts off the motor current. The first control unit has an energization control unit for controlling energization to the motor winding and an energization state notification unit for outputting an energization state signal according to an energization command. The second control unit is provided separately from the first control unit and has an abnormality monitoring unit configured to monitor an abnormality based on a detection value of the current detection unit and an energization state signal so as to perform fail-safe measure according to a monitoring result.

Abstract: An integrated IC provided in an SBW-ECU has plural functions such as a receiving function of receiving output signals of an encoder and a current supply function of supplying current to each phase of the motor. A microcomputer checks individually whether the signal receiving function and the current supply function are potentially abnormal and checks whether the integrated IC is abnormal based on the check results about the signal receiving function and the current supply function. For example, when it is determined that only the signal receiving function of the integrated IC is potentially abnormal, the encoder is determined to be abnormal. When it is determined that the signal receiving function and the current supply function of the integrated IC are both potentially abnormal, the integrated IC is determined to be abnormal.

Abstract: A load drive controlling device includes a dulling controller, a dulling adjuster, and a Proportional Integral (PI) controller. The dulling adjuster sets a first electric current value for a dulling adjustment operation according to a change trend of a target electric current value in an inductive load. The dulling adjuster performs the dulling adjustment operation on the first electric current and limits a dulled value based on a guard value. The PI controller performs a PI control based on a deviation between the dulled value and an actual value of the electric current. The dulling controller sets the first electric current value and the guard value according to a change trend of the target electric current value. Abstract: A shift range control device includes a signal receiver, an abnormality monitor, and a drive controller. The signal receiver acquires an encoder signal from an encoder capable of outputting three or more phase encoder signals having different phases. The abnormality monitor monitors an abnormality of the encoder. The drive controller controls drive of a motor by switching an energized phase of a motor winding so that a rotation position of the motor becomes a target rotation position according to a target shift range. When the abnormality of the encoder is detected, the driver controller drives the motor by faulty phase identification control to identify a faulty phase that is a phase in which an abnormality of the encoder signal occurs, and a normal phase in which the encoder signal is normal.

Abstract: During changing of a shift range (for example, from P-range to NotP-range), an SBW-ECU determines whether it is in a range-change delay condition (a switching completion time of the shift range is delayed than a normal switching completion time). When it is determined that it is in the range-change delay condition, it is determined whether a target range should be changed to a safer range (for example, P-range). As a result, when it is determined that the target range should be changed to the safer range, the target range is changed to the safer range. Thereby, even if a driver determines that the shift range cannot be changed before the switching completion of the shift range and the driver gets off the vehicle, the shift range can be changed to the safer range (P-range).
