    Abstract: A battery unit configured to be exchangeable with respect to an external load, in which the battery unit includes: a battery member capable of supplying power to the external load in a state where the battery unit is connected to the external load; a battery load connected to the battery member, a measurement unit that measures at least either a current flowing through the battery load or a voltage applied to the battery load; and a control unit configured to operate with the battery member as a power source in a state where the battery unit is removed from the external load, cause a current to flow to the battery load from the battery member at a predetermined timing and acquire a measurement result measured by the measurement unit at a time when the current is caused to flow.

    Abstract: A battery management system includes a monitoring device and a controller. The monitoring device is arranged in a housing accommodating a battery. The monitoring device monitors the battery and acquires battery monitoring information that includes information indicating a state of the battery. The controller performs wireless communication with the monitoring device and executes a predetermined process based on the battery monitoring information. The monitoring device holds imperfect information that is battery monitoring information indicating failure of data transmission/reception between the monitoring device and the controller. The monitoring device retransmits information corresponding to the imperfect information from next time the battery monitoring information is transmitted.

    Abstract: A battery management system includes monitoring devices arranged in a housing accommodating a battery. The monitoring devices monitor the battery and acquire battery monitoring information. The controller performs wireless communication with each of the monitoring devices via a wireless communication connection. The controller transmits a disconnection instruction to each of the monitoring devices. Each of the monitoring devices periodically executes a requesting operation after disconnection of the wireless communication connection. The controller accepts the requesting operation to establish the wireless communication connection. The controller and each of the monitoring devices perform a periodic communication of the battery monitoring information via the established wireless communication connection. Each of the monitoring devices determines start timing of the requesting operation based on reception timing of the disconnection instruction so that at least some of timings of requesting operations of the monitoring devices do not overlap with each other.

    Abstract: A monitoring system includes monitoring devices provided in a monitored device, and a controller that wirelessly communicates with the monitoring devices to acquire monitoring information. In an operating state of the monitored device, the controller and the monitoring devices establish individual connections in which the controller acting as a communication master performs wireless communication with each of the monitoring devices acting as communication slaves. In a non-operating state of the monitored device, the controller and the monitoring devices maintain communication between the controller and the monitoring devices by establishing a sequential connection. In the sequential connection, the controller acting as a communication master performs wireless communication with one of the monitoring devices acting as a communication slave, and one of the monitoring devices, in sequence, acting as a communication master performs wireless communication with another one of the monitoring devices acting as a communication slave.

    Abstract: A monitoring system includes monitoring devices and a controller configured to wirelessly communicate with the monitoring devices to acquire monitoring information of a monitored device. In a non-operating state of the monitored device, the monitoring devices establish communication connections between the monitoring devices and periodically perform communication through the communication connections. One monitoring device acts as a communication master and another one monitoring device acts as a communication slave in each of the communication connections. Each of the monitoring devices acts as a communication master for another of the monitoring devices and also as a communication slave for another of the monitoring devices. In the non-operating state of the monitored device, the controller disconnects a communication connection between the controller and each of the monitoring devices, or performs communication with at least one of the monitoring devices less frequently than the communication between the monitoring devices.

    Abstract: A control device comprises an acquisition unit that acquires a current to or from the battery and a voltage of a battery, a calculation unit that calculates an internal resistance of the battery based on the current and the voltage when the regenerative power generation is performed by a rotary electric machine, and a permission determination unit that determines whether to permit an automatic stop of an engine depending on whether restarting of the engine is enabled based on power running drive of the rotary electric machine. The calculation unit calculates a value of the internal resistance each time the regenerative power generation or the power running drive is performed before the engine enters an automatic stop state. The permission determination unit determines whether to permit the automatic stop based on a latest value of the internal resistance among values of the internal resistance calculated by the calculation unit.
