    Abstract: A system for deploying network functions into target cloud environments in a cellular telecommunication network is cloud computing service provider agnostic. The system may use target environment agnostic GUIs to collect network function and IP address information for the deployment of the network function. The system populates a template for deploying the network function based on the network function and IP address information as well as the identity of the target environment. The system builds and deploys the network functions in the target environment based on the template.

    Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards systems and methods for bridging data traffic between an underlay network and an overlay network within a wireless telecommunication network, such as a wireless 5G network. One such method including: providing access to an overlay network that includes virtual routers, wherein the overlay network is built above the underlay network, the underlay network including physical infrastructure that delivers packets; providing a UPFv that acts as an anchor for telephony voice functions; establishing routing protocols to transmit from the UPFv to one or more of the virtual routers; configuring one or more of the virtual routers to bridge an outgoing communication from the UPFv to a public cloud provider; instructing the virtual router to send the outgoing communication through the public cloud provider to the underlay network; and instructing the virtual router to receive an incoming communication from the underlay network through the public cloud provider to the UPFv.

    Abstract: A mobile network operator may deploy a distributed network stack including, deploying a first cloud native function in a first public cloud and deploying a second cloud native function in a second public cloud. A system may provide a connected virtual private cloud. A system may deploy one or more virtual routers within the connected virtual private cloud. A system may connect the first public cloud and the second public cloud to the connected virtual private cloud using the one or more virtual routers in the connected virtual private cloud to form the overlay network. A system may transmit data traffic between the first cloud native function and the second cloud native function using the overlay network.

    Abstract: A system for dynamic edge routing of data traffic for a mobile entity having a plurality of applications is provided. An automotive edge router (AER) is located on the mobile entity. The AER is configured to connect to and be in signal communication with a plurality of cellular networks associated with different communication service providers (CSPs), and to receive performance data for each of the plurality of cellular networks. A data traffic controller is in signal communication with the AER via one of the plurality of cellular networks and is configured to receive the performance data for each cellular network from the AER, to dynamically select one of the plurality of cellular networks for each of the applications on the mobile entity based on the performance data, and to transmit a command signal to the AER indicating the selection of one of the plurality of cellular networks for each application.
