摘要： The present invention provides a dental paste, a dental article, methods of making and using the dental paste, and compositions prepared therefrom. In one embodiment, the dental paste includes (a) a filler including porous, non-pyrogenic silica having a silane treated surface and being substantially free of heavy metals and (b) a filler including non-aggregated primary silica particles, with the fillers being dispersed in a hardenable resin.

摘要： Polymerizable compositions that include: (a) a cationically active functional group; (b) an initiation system capable of initiating cationic polymerization of the cationically active functional group; and (c) a filler composition that includes various radiopacifying fillers in an amount sufficient to render the polymerizable composition radiopaque. Components (a), (b), and (c) are selected such that the polymerizable composition polymerizes to form a polymerized composition having a Barcol hardness, measured using a GYZJ-935 meter, of at least 10 within 30 minutes following initiation of the cationically active functional group at a reaction temperature of 25° C.

摘要： A dental composition is provided comprising (a) a part A comprising fluoroaluminosilicate glass that has been surface treated with agents selected from the group consisting of silane, silanol and combinations thereof, and at least one fatty acid, dimer thereof, or trimer thereof; and (b) a part B comprising at least one polyacid. The composition further comprises resin that can be curable or non-curable and at least one initiator. The composition exhibits adhesion to dentin, and the treated FAS glass contained therein does not settle out with time.
