    Abstract: Apparatus including a dual product venturi aspirator and a failsafe diaphragm valve. A first venturi aspirator is utilized to draw a first additive (e.g. an alkaline cleanser) into a carrier liquid (e.g. water) flowing therethrough and, similarly, a second additive (e.g. a chlorinating agent) is drawn by a second venturi into a carrier liquid flowing therethrough. A fail-safe elastic diaphragm centrally mounted between the two aspirators and in communication therewith is operable thereby for automatically terminating the aspiration of either one of the two additives upon the exhaustion of the supply of the other additive, thereby assuring simultaneous injection of the two additives into a cleansing system. Fail-safe apparatus for providing simultaneous injection of three additives is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Apparatus for generating a foamed lubricant-cleanser comprising a cylindrical chamber having an air inlet and a lubricantcleanser solution inlet in opposite ends thereof and a plurality of equidistant foam outlets about the periphery thereof. The lubricant-cleanser solution is introduced into the chamber proximate the center of a fan positioned for rotation therein about an axis coincident with the axis of symmetry of the cylindrical chamber. The nonfoamed solution is converted into foam by the introduction of air into the nonfoamed solution centrifugally propelled by the fan. A method for lubricating and cleansing a moving surface such as a conveyor is also disclosed.

    Abstract: A system is shown for converting the powdered detergent in a large shipping container to a concentrated detergent solution and for keeping a predetermined amount of the solution available for use. A conical screen is mounted across and extends into an open end of the container. The detergent-filled container is inverted over an open receptacle with the screen holding the detergent in the container. A single water spray nozzle is mounted in the receptacle to spray water on the downwardly facing concave surface of the screen to dissolve a portion of the detergent carried thereby, which passes through the screen and collects in the receptacle.
