    摘要： An engine fuel system and methods are provided. The engine fuel system includes a supply arrangement for providing an outlet flow of fuel to a bypass metering arrangement. The bypass metering arrangement in turn provides a metered flow of fuel to a parallel metering system including a primary regulated circuit and one or more secondary metering circuits. The bypass metering arrangement is operable to maintain a substantially constant pressure differential across a fuel metering valve thereof, as well as provide the metered flow of fuel in response to downstream pressure demands of the parallel metering system.

    摘要： An apparatus for continuously controlling fluid flow in a sewer conduit, comprising: a) moisture sensors detecting levels of fluid in this conduit; b) an inflatable bladder, mounted in the sewer conduit for releasably sealing in fluid tight fashion a section of this conduit; a compressed air source for inflating the bladder; and a control box including a CPU sensitive to the moisture sensor(s) and actuating the air compressor responsively to conduit fluid level conditions reaching beyond a preset threshold value. The performance of the apparatus is independent of the speed of fluid flow in the sewer conduit.

    摘要： A trim assembly is provided with a cage with an internal surface and a cage port. A plug having an external surface is disposed in the cage and is operable between a closed position, a pressure balancing position and an open position. The trim assembly also includes a low friction flow restrictor disposed between the cage and the plug and a pressure energized seal disposed between the cage and the plug. A seal balancing volume defined by the internal surface of the cage, the external surface of the plug, the low friction flow restrictor and the pressure energized seal is provided. The seal balancing volume is in fluid communication with the cage port through the low friction flow restrictor and is maintained at a seal balancing volume pressure. The trim assembly further includes a pressure control assembly configured to vent the seal balancing volume.

    摘要： A pressure balance unit for a valve assembly includes a first shell having a tongue extending therefrom, a second shell having a groove indented therein, and a sliding element having a shaft defining an axis. The groove in the second shell is configured to receive the tongue from the first shell for aligning the shells. The first and second shells are united using a sonic welding process. The first shell defines a first bore and the second shell defines a second bore. The first and second bores include inlet ports in circumferential faces thereof, the ports defining openings transverse to the axis. The sliding element includes a first end movable along the axis within the first bore and a second end movable along the axis within the second bore. The ends of the sliding element open and close the inlet ports by sliding across the ports.

    摘要： A pressure balance valve contains: a receiving chamber including an external cold-water inlet, an external hot-water inlet, an external cold-water outlet, and an external hot-water outlet; a valve core including a pressure sensing fence, a first ring portion and a second ring portion. Between the first ring portion and the pressure sensing fence is defined a cold-water pressure cavity, and between the second ring portion and the pressure sensing fence is defined a hot-water pressure cavity. The first ring portion has an internal cold-water inlet and an internal cold-water outlet, the second ring portion has an internal hot-water inlet and an internal hot-water outlet. The first ring portion also has at least one first fixing slot for fitting with at least one first resilient loop, and the second ring portion also has at least one second fixing slot for fitting with at least second resilient loop.
