Abstract:
Provided is a transmitting/receiving antenna, including: an array antenna including a plurality of element antennas; and a feeding part transmitting a transmitting signal to the plurality of element antennas and receiving a signal received through the array antenna, in which the plurality of element antennas each include a radiation patch and a transmitting port and a receiving port positioned between the feeding part and the radiation patch.
Abstract:
A tag transmitting apparatus of a passive RFID (radio frequency identification) system generates a pilot tone, a preamble, and an SFD (start frame delimiter) and transmits the pilot, the preamble, and the SFD, using one of a plurality of square waves.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for transmitting a tag. The apparatus for transmitting a tag converts 2 bits of a plurality of bit data into one symbol using phase information and orthogonal information. The apparatus for transmitting a tag generates a sub-carrier signal by multiplying the symbol by a square wave having a faster period by a predetermined number of times than a period of the symbol, and transmits the sub-carrier signal to a reader
Abstract:
A receiving apparatus for an RFID reader estimates channel coefficients for each of a plurality of receiving antennas based on tag response signals received via a plurality of receiving antennas, compensates the tag response signals received via the plurality of receiving antennas based on the channel coefficients estimated for each of a plurality of channel estimators, combines the compensated tag response signals for each of the plurality of receiving antennas to generate a combined signal, and detect bits in the combined signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an RFID sensor tag supporting dual mode logging, an RFID sensor reader, and a controlling method thereof. The RFID sensor tag includes a controller that supports a dual mode including a scheduling logging mode in which sensor data is recorded in a predetermined interval and an alarm event logging mode in which sensor data is recorded in a predetermined alarm condition and records sensor data in the memory when a corresponding mode is performed and a memory that has a sensor data recording area divided per mode.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of choosing a communication mode of an RFID device which supports near-field communication and far-field communication, including: interrupting generation of a self RF field signal; determining whether or not an RF field signal for near-field communication is detected; choosing the near-field communication mode when an external RF field signal for near-field communication is detected; and generating the self RF field signal for far-field communication when the external RF field signal for near-field communication is not detected, and choosing the communication mode according to whether or not a response signal is received.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for controlling a tag including: a communication interface receiving a read request; a tag communicating unit connected to one or more memory tags and transmitting and receiving data; a memory storing instructions for performing reads for the memory tags; and a processor performing a control for the memory tags according to the read request based on the instructions, wherein the instructions include instructions for performing the steps of: transmitting a configuration information request to the memory tags; receiving configuration information from the memory tags; calculating the number of data segment according to the configuration information and transmitting the read request including the number of data segment to the memory tags; and receiving a data segment corresponding to the number of data segment from the memory tags.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a tag transmission apparatus and a signal transmitting method thereof. The tag transmission apparatus converts a plurality of data bits into a symbol, which is one of a plurality of symbols, and multiplies the converted symbol by a square-wave having a predetermined frequency to thereby generate a subcarrier signal. Here, in the case in which the plurality of data bits are n (n is a natural number larger than 2) bits, the number of the plurality of symbols is 2n.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving an RFID signal using beamforming. The apparatus for transmitting and receiving a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) signal using beamforming according to an embodiment includes a reception unit for receiving power and RFID data signals from an RFID reader, a control unit for adjusting opening/closing periods of switches corresponding to respective paths through which the RF data signals pass, thus controlling the paths, and a transmission unit for converting phases of RF data signals, which are distributed and transmitted to the paths, in response to the opening/closing periods of the switches, and then transmitting beams corresponding to the RF data signals while converting a pattern of the beams.
Abstract:
The loop antenna includes a loop coil connected to an RF signal source of a reader through a feed cable, and a switch that is turned on and off depending on a DC voltage that is proportional to the magnitude of an RF signal supplied from the RF signal source of the reader and opens the loop coil when turned off and closes the loop coil when turned on.
