    Abstract: An electrochemical device includes a power generating element including a main portion and a terminal portion, the main portion including an electrode prepared by forming an active material layer on a metal foil surface, the terminal portion being provided on a side of the main portion, the terminal portion including layers of metal foils, an outer package including a container and a lid, the container including a side wall and a bottom wall and housing the power generating element, the lid being formed with a terminal, a current collector including a leg portion to which the layers of metal foils are attached, and a movement restricting member being arranged between the terminal portion of the power generating element and an inner surface of the side wall opposite the terminal portion. The movement restricting member includes a holding portion.

    Abstract: A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes: a container; an electrode assembly; an electrode terminal; a current collector; and an internal insulation sealing member insulating the container and the current collector. The container includes a wall having an outer surface with a protrusion part protruding outward from the outer surface and an inner surface with a recess part formed correspondingly in position to the protrusion part. The recess part has an outermost bottom surface and an inner side surface formed continuously between the bottom surface and the inner surface of the wall of the container. At least part of the inner side surface of the recess part is tilted to the protrusion direction of the protrusion part. The internal insulation sealing member is between the current collector and the recess part of the container, and has side wall parts parallel to the at least part of the inner side surface.

    Abstract: An energy storage element includes: a container; an electrode assembly housed in the container; an electrode terminal; a current collector which electrically connects the electrode terminal and the electrode assembly; and an external insulation sealing member for insulating the container and the electrode terminal. The container includes a protrusion part having a through-hole for allowing penetration of the electrode terminal and protruding from the upper surface of the container. The electrode terminal is electrically connected to the current collector in a state where the electrode terminal penetrates through the protrusion part. The external insulation sealing member has a side part disposed along the side surface of the protrusion part, and the end surface of the end part of the side part at the side of the upper surface is apart from the upper surface.
