    Abstract: A solid-state imaging device includes a pixel array unit, a row control unit, a row readout unit, a column control unit, and a column readout unit. The pixel array unit includes MN pixels each including a photodiode for generating charges by receiving light and arrayed two-dimensionally in M rows and N columns. The pixel inputs an m-th row control signal output from the row control unit to an m-th row control line, inputs an n-th column control signal output from the column control unit to an n-th column control line, and selects whether the charges generated in the photodiode are output to an m-th row output line or an n-th column output line based on a logical value of each of the m-th row control signal and the n-th column control signal.

    Abstract: Provided is a position detection sensor including: a light-receiving unit that includes a first pixel, a second pixel and a calculation unit that performs center-of-gravity operation by using an intensity of first and second electric signals to calculate a first position. In the first pixel, as the incident position is closer to one end of the light-receiving unit in a second direction, the intensity of the first electric signal decreases. In the second pixel, as the incident position is closer to the one end, the intensity of the second electric signal increases. The calculation unit further calculates a second position on the basis of a first integrated value obtained by integrating the intensity of the first electric signal, and a second integrated value obtained by integrating the intensity of the second electric signal.

    Abstract: A solid-state imaging device includes a first light receiving unit and second light receiving units. In the first light receiving unit, a plurality of pixel pairs are arrayed along an x direction. In each of the second light receiving units, a plurality of pixels each for generating charges in an amount according to a light receiving amount are arrayed along a y direction. Each pixel pair includes a first pixel and a second pixel. When line-shaped light extending in the x direction is incident on the first light receiving unit, as a light incident position varies from one side to another side in the y direction, a charge amount generated in the first pixel gradually decreases, and a charge amount generated in the second pixel gradually increases.

    Abstract: A shape measurement apparatus includes a light source, an irradiation optical system, an imaging optical system, a spatial light modulator, a focusing optical system, a linear sensor, and a processing unit. The irradiation optical system forms the light into a line shape and irradiates an object. The imaging optical system forms an image of the light reflected by the object. The spatial light modulator, in which a one-dimensional intensity modulation pattern is set on a light modulation plane, spatially intensity-modulates and outputs the light. The focusing optical system focuses the light output from the spatial light modulator in a line shape. The linear sensor receives the light focused in the line shape by pixels. The processing unit performs analysis by the compressive sensing technique for each of the pixels based on the intensity modulation pattern and an output signal from the linear sensor.
