Abstract: A terminal coverage method and an apparatus is provided. The method includes, obtaining, by a network device, position information of a terminal in a cell relative to the network device, then the network device divides the cell into a plurality of areas based on the position information of the terminal in the cell relative to the network device, and sends information to terminals in different areas of the plurality of areas at different time points, where the information is carried on a channel with a maximum repetition count less than a threshold. In other words, the network device divides the cell into the plurality of areas, and sends the information carried on a channel with a limited repetition count to a terminal in at least one target area in the plurality of areas in a time division manner.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides example line order detection methods and multi-antenna network devices. One example method includes obtaining preset antenna numbers of a target antenna group. A first uplink received signal strength sequence of each antenna channel is determined based on a first uplink reference signal sequence from a terminal. After an antenna downtilt angle of the target antenna group is adjusted from a first downtilt angle to a second downtilt angle, a second uplink received signal strength sequence of each antenna channel is determined based on a second uplink reference signal sequence from the terminal. Actual antenna numbers of the target antenna group are determined based on the first uplink received signal strength sequence and the second uplink received signal strength sequence of each antenna channel. When the preset antenna numbers are different than the actual antenna numbers, a line order is determined to be incorrect.

Abstract: An antenna connection detection method and apparatus are provided, to detect whether a connection sequence between communications interfaces of a network side device and antenna elements is incorrect. The method includes that a network side device receives, by using antenna elements connected to a plurality of communications interfaces, reference signals sent by N terminal devices, where N is an integer greater than 0. Then, the network side device determines N channel correlation matrices based on the reference signals sent by the N terminal devices, and then determines, based on the N channel correlation matrices and a preset channel correlation matrix, whether a connection sequence between the plurality of communications interfaces and the antenna elements is incorrect, where one channel correlation matrix is used to represent correlation between transmission channels between the network side device and one terminal device.

Abstract: A time-frequency resource allocation method includes: obtaining an uplink reference signal of user equipment (UE) on which allocation is to be performed when scheduling a time-frequency resource for the UE; measuring, based on the obtained uplink reference signal, each beam in a second preset quantity of orthogonal beam groups including a first preset quantity of beams, to determine a level of each beam; then determining, based on the level of each beam, a beam attribute that is of the UE and that is in the second preset quantity of orthogonal beam groups; and then, allocating, based on the beam attribute that is of the UE and a beam attribute that is of one or more UEs on which allocation has already been performed and that is in the second preset quantity of orthogonal beam groups, the time-frequency resource to the UE on which allocation is to be performed.
