摘要： The present invention provides a method for providing automated vehicle diagnostic function within a mobile vehicle communication system. The method includes configuring a primary diagnostic script for a telematics equipped mobile vehicle, providing the primary diagnostic script to the mobile vehicle, executing the primary diagnostic script, and collecting diagnostic data based on the executed primary diagnostic script. The primary diagnostic script may recreate known problem sequences when executed or may trigger data capture when specific conditions exist. The step of configuring the primary diagnostic script may include determining at least one diagnostic script based on diagnostic options and retrieving the at least one determined diagnostic script. One or more diagnostic scripts may be combined into the primary diagnostic script.

摘要： A method for accessing email attachments from a mobile vehicle is disclosed. The method enables the user to contact a call center, and receive email attachments in a mobile vehicle telematics control unit. The telematics control unit determines whether the email attachment is audio-only, or whether it includes video elements. The telematics control unit then routes audio-only attachments to an audio device, and attachments having video elements to a display screen.

The method includes detecting at least one wireless short-distance communication network identification signal, generating wireless network information based on the detected wireless network identification signals, and communicating the generated wireless network information to a service provider. The wireless short-distance communication network identification signal may include an internet protocol address, a location identification tag, GPS coordinates, points of interest, venue capacity, venue size, or category. The step of detecting the wireless short-distance communication network identification signal includes receiving at least one wireless short-distance communication network identification signal, determining a unique device identifier associated with each received wireless short-distance communication network identification signal, and storing the determined unique device identifier.

摘要： A method of customizing speech recognition in a mobile vehicle communication system is provided. A speech input is received at a telematics unit in communication with a call center, the speech input associated with a failure mode notification. The speech input is recorded at the telematics unit then forwarded to the call center via a wireless network based on the failure mode notification. At least one user-specific voice-recognition set is then received from the call center in response to the failure mode notification, wherein the user-specific voice-recognition set has been updated with the speech input. Systems and programs of customizing speech recognition in a mobile vehicle communication system are also provided.
