    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for configuration of System frame number (SFN) and Frame Timing Difference (SFTD) measurement in an E-UTRA (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access)—NR Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) network, and an NE-DC network. Various embodiments describe how to configure and perform the SFTD measurement in the EN-DC or NE-DC network of various conditions to facilitate adequate SFTD measurements and improve measurement accuracy and system performance. An apparatus for a UE may be configured to identify a plurality of CSI-RS resources corresponding to different Tx beams configured for measurement by the UE, measure an L1-RSRP for the plurality of CSI-RS resources, determine a selected Tx beam of the different Tx beams based on measured L1-RSRP values for the plurality of CSI-RS resources, and determine a measurement accuracy of a first L1-RSRP value corresponding to the selected Tx beam based on successful beam detection probability.

    Abstract: An apparatus and system for power saving in a user equipment (UE) are described. The UE uses signal-to-interference-plus-noise (SINR) of radio link monitoring (REM) signals to determine whether to enter or exit a relaxation state in which the frequency of measurement of the REM signals is reduced, as is feedback to the base station. The REM relaxation state is dependent on the average SINR of the REM signals over a predetermined time window. Alternatively, the REM relaxation state is dependent on SINR thresholds that include an SINR fluctuation range using a SINR threshold for REM in-sync or derived from a Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) curve of SINR using a predetermined maximum SINR fluctuation.
