    Abstract: A non-access point (AP) station (STA) may be configured for receipt of a multi-user physical layer protocol data unit (MU-PPDU) with network coding. The STA may decode at least portions of a MU-PPDU received from an access point (AP). The MU-PPDU may comprise a first data portion addressed to the STA, a second data portion addressed to a second STA2, and a parity portion addressed to both the stations. The parity portion may be generated by the AP based on a network coding of the first and second data portions. When the first data portion is received by the STA with errors, the STA may attempt to recover the first data portion using both the parity portion and the second data portion.

Logic to generate network coded packets for transmission in the A-MPDU, wherein the network coded packets comprise encoded combinations of the first set of packets. Logic to generate the A-MPDU for transmission to the second STA with the first number of packets. Logic to cause transmission of the A-MPDU. And logic to receive a block acknowledgement (BlockAck) comprising a feedback value, wherein the feedback value is a number of additional network coded packets requested by the second STA to decode the first set of packets or a number of packets received by the second STA.

    Abstract: The present disclosure is related to multi-access traffic management in multi-access computing environments. A reliability enhancement engine (REE) operated by a multi-access multipath traffic manager identifies traffic flows that have high reliability requirements (“reliability flows”) and performs admission control for the reliability flows. The REE determines a coding rate (e.g., a redundancy factor) and traffic distribution strategies for the identified reliability flows. The REE applies cross-access network coding (NC) on the reliability flows, and handles multi-access acknowledgements and traffic pacing, which may involve multiplexing traffic of the reliability flows with non-high-reliability traffic. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

    Abstract: In one example, a wireless communication device may be configured to encode k data packets into n encoded packets according to a Network Coding (NC) scheme, wherein k is equal to or greater than two, and wherein n is greater than k; and to determine a count of x encoded packets out of the n encoded packets, for example, based on a count of m required packets. For example, a value of m may be based on a difference between k and a total count of successfully received encoded packets, which are successfully received by the receiver device. For example, the wireless communication device may be configured to transmit the x encoded packets over the wireless communication link.
