摘要: Technology for an eNodeB operable to support Cellular Internet of Things (CIoT) is disclosed. The eNodeB can generate a system information block (SIB) that includes one or more indicators that one or more CIoT Evolved Packet System (EPS) optimizations are supported at the eNodeB. The eNodeB can encode, at the eNodeB, the SIB for transmission to a user equipment (UE) to enable the eNodeB to receive a request from the UE for a use of the CIoT EPS optimizations. The eNodeB can decode a radio resource control (RRC) connection setup complete message received from the UE. The RRC connection setup complete message can include one or more indicators that one or more CIoT EPS optimizations are supported at the UE.

摘要: An apparatus of a Radio Access Network (RAN) node, a system, and a method. The apparatus includes one or more processors to generate a message including a downlink (DL) delivery data status (DDDS) frame including flags to indicate a presence of all associated optional information elements therein, the DDDS frame including information elements corresponding to an out-of-sequence delivery report for DL packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) protocol data units (PDUs) (PDCP PDUs) successfully delivered or delivered from the RAN node to a user equipment (UE); and cause transmission of the DDDS frame to a receiving node corresponding to the RAN node in a New Radio (NR) network, the receiving node hosting a NR packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) (NR PDCP) entity.

A first relay node determines that its uplink buffer has reached an occupancy level higher than a pre-determined level. In response, the first relay node transmits, to a second relay node associated with the first relay node, a message indicating a buffer occupancy status of the uplink buffer of the first relay node.

摘要: Provided herein are mechanisms on response of pre-allocated resource based PUSCH transmission. The disclosure provides an apparatus including processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is to: encode data, for transmission to an access node (AN) over a pre-allocated uplink (UL) resource (PUR) based physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); start a timer once the data is transmitted; and monitor, based on the timer, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to obtain a response of the AN to the transmission of the data.
