Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to using protected beacon frames in wireless communications. A device may determine a beacon management element of a beacon frame body and may determine an integrity group key identifier of the beacon management element, wherein the integrity group key identifier is associated with a basic service set (BSS). The device may determine, based on the integrity group key identifier, a management integrity check (MIC) field of the beacon management element. The device may generate a beacon frame including the beacon frame body. The device may send the beacon frame.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods to pair a set of accessory devices with a source device through use of a unique device set identifier. Embodiments include a source device adapted to obtain a device set identifier from a device that is part of a set of devices, from a tag, dongle, or code associated with the set of devices, or from a package or carton containing one or more devices of the set of devices, and then automatically pair the source device with each device. Embodiments include a registration process facilitated by the unique device set identifier. The device set identifier including information corresponding to the devices in the set of devices to facilitate registration of the devices, as well as pairing the devices in the set of devices to a source device. Pairing of activation of the set of devices may be conditioned on successful completion of a registration process.

Abstract: Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems, devices and/or methods of packet coalescing. For example, an apparatus may include circuitry and logic configured to cause a first wireless station to process a notification from a second wireless station including transmit (Tx) packet coalescing information, the Tx packet coalescing information including packet type information to define one or more packet types for packet coalescing at the first wireless station, and a coalescing threshold indicator to indicate a coalescing threshold to limit the packet coalescing at the first wireless station; to coalesce a plurality of packets for the second wireless station by buffering the plurality of packets at the first wireless station, the plurality of packets having at least one of the one or more packet types; and, based at least on the coalescing threshold, to process one or more buffered packets of the plurality of packets for transmission to the second wireless station.

A device is disclosed that may determine first information received from a client device, wherein the first information comprises at least one of an authentication request, an association request, or pre-association discovery request, and wherein the first information includes an indication of a first device type. The device may further determine a first virtual access point from a group of virtual access points associated with the wireless device based at least in part on the first device type, wherein the first virtual access point has first wireless resources. The device may further associate the client device with the first virtual access point. The device may further cause to send to the client device data based at least in part on the first wireless resources.
