摘要： A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may include communicating on a primary carrier and a secondary carrier and receiving a medium access control (MAC) message indicating activation or deactivation of the secondary carrier. If the MAC layer message indicates the secondary carrier is activated, the method may include monitoring the secondary carrier for control messages. If the MAC message indicates the secondary carrier is deactivated, the method may include ceasing monitoring the secondary carrier. The method may include utilizing a timer based on the activation of the secondary carrier, and, if the timer expires, deactivating the secondary carrier.

摘要： The disclosure pertains to methods and apparatus for performing positioning of wireless transmit and/or receive units (WTRUs) in wireless communication systems. A WTRU may receive configuration information indicating a time window associated with positioning. The configuration information may indicate any of a duration and a periodicity of the time window. The WTRU may receive (1) first scheduling information indicating to transmit a first uplink transmission including a sounding reference signal (SRS) and (2) second scheduling information indicating to transmit a second uplink transmission including a positioning SRS (SRSp). The first uplink transmission may not include any SRSp. On condition that the second uplink transmission is scheduled for transmission during the time window, the WTRU may transmit the second uplink transmission during the time window and may transmit the first uplink transmission only when the first uplink transmission is scheduled for transmission outside of the time window.

A flexible radio access communication system may be supported using spectrum of varying size, including aggregation of non-adjacent carriers in the same and/or in different frequency bands. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first transmission via a common downlink control channel. The first transmission may include first control information. The first control information may include information regarding the configuration of a first dedicated downlink control channel of one or more dedicated control channels. The WTRU may receive a second transmission via the first dedicated downlink control channel of the dedicated control channels. The second transmission may include second control information. The second control information may be associated with a transmission of a first transmission type. The dedicated downlink control channels may be used for providing control information associated with different types of transmissions.

The numerologies may include one or more of a subcarrier spacing, a transmission duration, a symbol duration, a number of symbols, or a cyclic prefix (CP) size. The WTRU may send an access request indicating the identified, determined, or selected one or more numerologies. The access request may be a random access channel (RACH) request or a scheduling request (SR). The WTRU may monitor one or more search spaces for one or more physical control channels. The search spaces may be monitored based on an identified, determined, or selected one or more numerologies. Within one of the search spaces, the WTRU may receive and successfully decode a physical control channel. The WTRU may transmit data based on the numerology associated with the search space in which the physical channel was successfully decoded.

摘要： A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first scheduling assignment that includes an indication of one or more first resources and an indication of a first priority for a first sidelink data transmission from another WTRU. The first WTRU may determine to send a second sidelink data transmission associated with a second priority that is lower than the first priority. The first WTRU may determine a signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment and may select one or more resources for sending the second sidelink data transmission. The first WTRU may determine that one or more first resources are available for transmission of the second sidelink data transmission based on the signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment being below a threshold. The first WTRU may send a second scheduling assignment including an indication of the selected one or more resources for the second sidelink data transmission.

摘要： Physical layer processing and procedures for device-to-device (D2D) discovery signal generation and transmission and scheduling of D2D discovery signals are described. Detection and measurement of a D2D discovery signal, D2D signal identity management, and monitoring by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) of PDCCH for D2D discovery scheduling is described, as is a WTRU that may be configured with a D2D-specific transmission/reception opportunity pattern. The discovery signal may carry a payload for explicit information about user and/or service identity, and may be mapped to physical resources in such a way as to decouple transmission/reception of the discovery signal from downlink operations. A WTRU may measure a D2D discovery signal quality and report to the network.
