    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a light shutter panel including an incident light control area, an optical member including a lens and facing the incident light control area, and an imaging device configured to convert light which passed through the incident light control area of the light shutter panel and the optical member to image data. The incident light control area includes a first annular light-shielding area, a circular incident light control area surrounded by the first annular light-shielding area, and a plurality of annular incident light control areas located between the first annular light-shielding area and the circular incident light control area and having a multiple shape.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a first camera, a first polarizer, a second polarizer, and a liquid crystal panel disposed between the first polarizer and the second polarizer. The liquid crystal panel includes a first scanning line, a first signal line intersecting the first scanning line, a first switching element electrically connected to the first scanning line and the first signal line, and a first control electrode electrically connected to the first switching element.     Abstract: According to one embodiment, a driving method of a display device including a display area in which liquid crystal pixels are arranged in a matrix, a plurality of scanning lines arranged along display rows, a plurality of signal lines arranged along display columns, a backlight which illuminates the display area, and a controller which controls a display operation, the driving method includes via the controller, driving the scanning lines alternately from a center of the display area to both edges of the display area, outputting video data corresponding to a driven scanning line to the signal lines in synchronization with the driving of the scanning line, and turning on the backlight for a predetermined time after outputting the video data of one frame.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, provided is a liquid crystal display device with a reduced size and little restriction for incorporation into other devices. The liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate that includes multiple thin film transistors for pixel driving. The liquid crystal display device also includes a counter substrate disposed in a manner opposed to the array substrate. The liquid crystal display device further includes an FPC arranged to transmit an external signal for driving of the thin film transistors. One of the array substrate and the counter substrate has an outline larger than that of the other, disposed on the display side, and includes a connecting portion at a position not opposed to the other on the side opposite to the display side. At least one end portion of the FPC is connected to the connecting portion, while the other end portion extends inward.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a lateral-electric-field liquid crystal display device includes a light-emitting display layer including OLEDs and a driving circuit controlling light emission of the OLEDs, a moisture impermeable film provided to be laminated on the light-emitting display layer to prevent infiltration of moisture into the light-emitting display layer, an optical substrate provided separately from the moisture impermeable film and subjecting light from the light-emitting display region to optical processing, a first touch electrode group serving as one electrode group of touch electrodes and provided on a back surface of the optical substrate, and an extraction electrode group formed to be laminated on the moisture impermeable film, the extraction electrode group and the optical substrate have an overlapping part in plan view, and electrodes of the first touch electrode group being electrically connected to electrodes of the extraction electrode group in the overlapping part.
