Abstract:
Computer systems and methods allow users to annotate content items found in a corpus such as the World Wide Web Annotations, which can include any descriptive and/or evaluative metadata related to a document, are collected from a user and stored in association with that user. Users are able to annotate and view their annotations for any document they encounter while interacting with the corpus, including hits returned in a search of the corpus. Users are also able to search their annotations or to limit searches to documents they have annotated. Metadata from annotations can also be aggregated across users and aggregated metadata applied in generating search results.
Abstract:
A bra comprised of separate left and right breast support members where each breast support member comprises a section of flexible sheet material formed to define a concave cavity and having tabs projecting radially outwardly from the cavity rim. Each breast support member defines a rear facing surface encompassing the cavity and tabs, which carries a pressure sensitive adhesive for adhering to a user's skin. The concave cavity constitutes a cup for accommodating the user's breast while the tabs enable the user to readily manipulate the support member for optimally positioning the user's breast relative to the cut of a deep plunge garment.

Abstract:
A deployable underwater noise abatement system allowing packing and deploying an organized set of grouped resonators is disclosed. The system allows relatively compact storage and transportation of the noise abatement apparatus when not in use, then, when deployed, the apparatus can be lowered into the water and extended.
Abstract:
An interbody spacer comprising a series of stacked walls connected by a common base, wherein the spacer collapses when pressed into an access delivery tube. During insertion, the walls can flex as a unit, like bending a deck of cards, to traverse bends in the access tube. Upon distally exiting the portal of the access delivery tube, the walls track apart (like spreading fingers) to create a wide base of support for the vertebral body endplate. A graft delivery device that uses a conveyor belt-type approach to deliver bone graft from the device to a location in a patient. In some embodiments, the conveyor-belt is manually actuated.
Abstract:
A system for controlling operation of a motor drive during fast start-up of an induction motor is disclosed. The system includes an AC motor drive having a PWM inverter and a control system to generate a command signal to cause the PWM inverter to control an output of the AC motor drive. The control system includes a start-up modulator that is selectively operable during start-up acceleration of the AC motor, the start-up modulator programmed to determine a motor current applied to the AC motor and a voltage of a DC bus, generate a first frequency offset that causes a frequency reference of the command signal to be decreased when the motor current is greater than a reference current threshold, and generate a second frequency offset that causes the frequency reference of the command signal to be increased when the DC bus voltage is greater than a reference voltage threshold.
Abstract:
Use of a compound of formula (I) wherein R is an alicyclic group; an arylethyl group; or phenyl or benzyl substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, alkoxy, OH, NH2, NHalkyl, N(alkyl)2, CN or NO2; in the manufacture of a medicament for the therapy of hyperalgesic pain conditions and their symptoms.
