    摘要: A device for joining a first component A and a second component B while leaving a joining gap SP includes a bolt 4 and a compensating coil 2 for compensating tolerances of the joining gap. The compensating coil is adapted to be fixed to the bolt 4 by frictional engagement means and/or releasable positive engagement means. The dimensions of the compensating coil are adapted to a helical rim hole portion 6 of the first component A such that actuation of the bolt 4 causes the compensating coil to rotate through the helical rim hole portion until it fills the joining gap for the purpose of tolerance compensation, and the frictional engagement means and/or releasable positive engagement means is overcome by further actuation of the bolt 4 so that the bolt can be screwed into a threaded hole of the second component B to join the two components.

    摘要: A screw connection comprising a wire thread insert 8 which is inserted between a female thread M of a workpiece 4 and a male thread B of a screw 6 and which consists of a helically coiled wire thread member having a male thread adjacent internal thread 10 and a female thread adjacent external thread 12, characterized in that the profile angles βB, βM of the internal and external threads 10, 12 of the wire thread insert 8 are smaller than the respective profile angles αB, αM of the male thread B and, respectively, the female thread M such that when the screw connection is loaded by a predetermined biasing force KV the load flanks of the internal and external threads 10, 12 of the wire thread insert 8 engage the associated load flanks of the male and female threads B, M in full contact relationship.

    摘要: An assembly for automatically compensating variations of the spacing between first and second structural members due to manufacturing and/or mounting tolerances. The assembly comprises a mounting bolt, a base element, and an adjustment sleeve. The adjustment sleeve has a drive portion adapted to be engaged with the nut by frictional drag and rotatable relative to said mounting bolt when said frictional drag has been overcome. The drive portion comprises an internal annular plastic portion which projects from the wall of the adjustment sleeve radially outwards sufficiently so as to frictionally engage the threads of the mounting bolt to provide for said frictional drag.
