According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for processing a request message in a wireless communication is disclosed, and the method is performed by a first M2M device and comprises the steps of: receiving a request message related to a specific resource type from a second M2M device; determining whether the specific resource type is supported; searching for another M2M device supporting the specific resource type if the specific resource type is not supported; processing the request message so as to transfer the processed request message to a third M2M device if the third M2M device supporting the specific resource type is discovered according to the searched result, wherein an operation related to the request message is performed by the third M2M device instead of the first M2M device; receiving a response message including the processed result of the request message from the other device; and processing the received response message so as to transfer the processed response message to a transmission device.
Abstract:
According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for calculating the location of a terminal in a wireless communication system, which is to be performed by the terminal, comprises the steps of: transmitting, to a location server, a request for location estimation assist data for calculating the location of the terminal; receiving the location estimation assist data from the location server; and calculating the location of the terminal using the location estimation assist data. The location estimation assist data includes radio map information including a received signal strength (RSS) value from each access point collected at a plurality of location estimation reference points in a region having a predetermined range. The radio map includes information regarding the location estimation reference points (hereinafter, referred to as “update points”) which require an update of the radio map. The method may further include a step of determining whether or not an update of the location estimation assist data is required based on the calculated location of the terminal and the information regarding the update points.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for enabling a machine-to-machine (M2M) gateway to measure the position of an M2M device, and an apparatus therefore, and the method includes the steps of: receiving a request for generating a first resource representing the way of obtaining positional information form a first M2M device; if the generation request contains the information for indicating commonly based positional measurement, determining the device closest to the first M2M device; and setting the positional information of the closest device as the positional information for the first m2M device, wherein if the M2M gateway does not have network topological information, or at least one M2M device connected to the m2M gateway does not have positional information, the M2M topological information, and the at least one M2M device connected to the M2M gateway has positional information, the device having the minimum number of hops from the first M2M device among the at least one M2M device is determined as the closest device, and the first resource represents a data structure capable of being uniquely addressed using address information.
Abstract:
A method for forwarding a message in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention is performed by an M2M device, and comprises the steps of: receiving a request message; checking whether the M2M device is a recipient of the request message, using a particular parameter included in the request message; when the M2M device is not a recipient of the request message, checking whether only one registrant M2M device exists other than the M2M device which has received the request message within one hop of the M2M device, wherein the registrant M2M device is in an M2M device in which one or more other M2M devices can be registered; and when the only one registrant M2M device is present within the one hop, forwarding the request message to the only one registrant M2M device, wherein the particular parameter may be a “to” parameter.
Abstract:
A method for processing a request message in a wireless communication system according to one embodiment of the present invention is performed by a first M2M device and comprising the steps of: receiving the request message directly from a transmission device; determining whether the transmission device is registered in the first M2M device; determining whether the request message is for handover setup if the transmission device is not registered in the first M2M device; storing handover information contained in the request message if the request message is for handover setup; updating registration information related to the transmission device according to the handover information; and transmitting a processing result regarding the request message to the transmission device.
