    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a displacement sensor. A displacement sensor according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes a coil structure consisting of wound coil, a shield member formed to surround an outer periphery of the coil structure and a housing, wherein the housing comprises an upper side wall part surrounding an outer periphery of the shield member and a lower side wall part formed to extend from the upper side wall part, wherein an inner circumferential surface of the lower side wall part is protruded toward the inside of the housing more than an inner circumferential surface of the upper side wall part, wherein an outer circumferential surface of the lower side wall part may include a depressed region formed to be depressed into the inside of the housing by a predetermined depth.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a compressor that includes: one or more impellers that axially suck and centrifugally compress a refrigerant; a rotary shaft that is connected with the impeller and a motor for rotating the impeller; a plurality of magnetic bearings that supports the rotary shaft in the air so that the rotary shaft can rotate; a gap sensor that senses the distance from the rotary shaft; and a controller that determines abnormal wire connection of the magnetic bearings on the basis of information from the gap sensor. The controller can sense movement of the rotary shaft through the gap sensor while controlling the amount of current supplied to any one of the magnetic bearings and can determine whether there is abnormal wire connection on the basis of the information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a laundry treatment machine. A laundry treatment machine comprises: an inverter to convert the DC voltage from the converter into alternating current (AC) voltage by a switching operation and to output the converted AC voltage to a motor; and a controller that controls such that, while a washing tub motor is rotating at a constant speed, a drain motor operates in a first period during which the speed of the drain motor increases, a second period during which the speed of the drain motor decreases after the first period, and a third period during which the speed of the drain motor decreases after the second period, wherein a rising slope in the second period is less than a falling slope in the third period. Accordingly, a speed ripple of the drain motor may be reduced.

    Abstract: According to the present invention, a control method for a clothing treatment device comprises the steps of: transmitting a power-related order to a motor that provides electric power to a drain pump in order to perform a dehydration process; detecting a unit revolution count of the motor while the dehydration process is performed; determining whether the detected unit revolution count exceeds a preset limited revolution count; reducing the unit revolution count of the motor to a predetermined unit revolution count if the detected unit revolution count exceeds the limited revolution count; and repeatedly transmitting the power-related order to the motor.

    Abstract: A compressor including a motor having a rotary shaft, a rotor and a stator, and an impeller at a front end of the rotary shaft to suction refrigerant in an axial direction and compress the refrigerant in a centrifugal direction. The compressor has a collar at a rear end of the rotary shaft and coupled to the rotary shaft to be extended outwardly in a radial direction of the rotary shaft. Radial bearings support a radial movement of the rotary shaft at a front and rear of the stator. A thrust bearing prevents an axial movement of the rotary shaft. A mechanical backup bearing also prevents the axial movement of the rotary shaft. A fixing unit supports the backup bearing at the rear end of the rotary shaft, wherein the backup bearing is arranged to overlap the thrust bearing in the radial direction of the rotary shaft.
