The filter includes a block of dielectric material with a top surface including a patterned region, a bottom surface, and side surfaces. The filter also includes a through-hole extending through the block from the top surface to the bottom surface. The through-hole may include a top edge that connects the top surface with an inner wall of the through hole and a bottom edge that connects the bottom surface with the inner wall of the through hole. The top edge or bottom edges of the through-hole may be rounded, chamfered, or tapered.

The patterned region, through-hole and inner surface have a second coating of silver and glass frit. The glass frit in the first coating is at least 0.5% greater than the glass frit in the second coating. The application is also directed to a system including a printed circuit board and a filter.

The digital self-interference residual cancellation method may follow an analog carrier cancellation stage where the digital self-interference residual cancellation is based on a determination of the channel circuit response used to control an infinite impulse response filter which can compensate using both poles and zeroes.

摘要: The present application describes a computer-implemented method for frequency hopping including configuring a radio front end to operate on a first frequency; receiving a transmit signal in a first path in the radio front end; amplifying a transmit signal in the first path; phase shifting the transmit signal in a second path in the radio front end, the second path being different from the first path; coupling the amplified transmit signal to a third path in the radio front end; coupling the phase-shifted transmit signal in the second path to the amplified transmit signal in the third path to form a carrier-cancelled signal in a fourth path in the radio front end in the radio front end; phase shifting the carrier-cancelled signal in the fourth path; coupling the phase-shifted carrier-cancelled signal in the fourth path to the amplified transmit signal in the first path; and reconfiguring the radio front end to operate on a second frequency.

摘要: The present application describes a method for characterizing a self-interference channel of a frequency division duplex transceiver including a transmitter and a receiver. The method includes transmitting, from a transmitter of a frequency division duplex transceiver in a transmission band, a transmission signal including a message signal and a swept tone that changes frequency from below an upper edge to above a lower edge of a reception band of a receiver, the self-interference channel being defined between the transmitter and the receiver of the frequency division duplex transceiver, such that at least a portion of the message signal leaks into a signal received the receiver, determining, at an infinite impulse response (IIR) filter of the receiver, an infinite impulse response of the self-interference channel based upon a reception of the swept tone swept at each frequency in the reception band, and estimating the self-interference channel, based upon the infinite impulse response.

摘要: The present applications at least describes a method of making a tuned ceramic filter. The method includes printing an oversized pattern of ceramic material on a ceramic filter. The method also include removing, at a first tune location of the ceramic filter, a first amount of the ceramic material using a laser to shrink the oversized pattern. The method also includes comparing a coupling matrix of the ceramic filter after the removing step with a coupling matrix of a prototype of the ceramic filter. The method includes a step of generating a tune vector based upon a difference between the coupling matrix of the ceramic filter and the coupling matrix of the prototype filter. Further, the method includes a step of iteratively modifying the removing of the ceramic material using femto-second laser at the first tune location to have a coefficient of the tune vector corresponding to the first tune location to converge toward zero.

In addition, the top surface of the filter includes a signal connection and a ground connection configured to communicate with the filter. The bottom surface of the filter includes an RF port configured to transmit electrical characteristics of the filter. A top plate of the filter includes a top and a bottom surface. The top plate is separated from the bottom plate by a predetermined height. The top plate includes a window extending between the top and bottom surfaces. The window exposes the through-hole of the filter held in the fixture. The application also describes a method of tuning and measuring a filter in a fixture.
