Abstract: Provided are a device for preventing an electric shock and an electronic device including the same. The device for preventing an electric shock, which is disposed between a conductor contactable with a user and an internal circuit of an electronic device includes a stacked body in which a plurality of insulation sheets are stacked and an ESD protection part disposed inside or outside the stacked body to protect an ESD voltage. The ESD voltage applied from the outside of the electronic device to the internal circuit is bypassed through the ESD protection part and block electric shock current, which is above 250 μA or more, transmitted to the conductor that is contactable with the user.

Abstract: Provided are a device for preventing an electric shock and an electronic device including the same. The device for preventing the electric shock includes a stacked body in which a plurality of insulation sheets are stacked, a capacitor part including a plurality of internal electrodes disposed in the stacked body, an ESD protection part disposed on at least a portion of each of the insulation sheets to protect an ESD voltage, and an external electrode disposed on each of at least two side surfaces outside the stacked body and connected to the capacitor part and the ESD protection part. The ESD protection part includes at least two or more discharge electrodes and at least one ESD protection layer disposed between the discharge electrodes and including at least one of a porous insulating material, a conductive material, and an air gap. One of the external electrodes is connected between a metal case of an electronic device and an internal circuit, and the other one of the external electrodes is connected to a ground terminal to block an electric shock voltage and bypass the ESD voltage.

Abstract: A protection contactor includes a contact part coming into contact with a conductor of an electric device and having elasticity and an ESD protection part connected to a portion of the contact part to extend to a circuit board disposed to be spaced apart from the contact part and comprising a conductive material. Thus, in accordance with the exemplary embodiments, current due to an overvoltage or an ESD voltage of a discharge starting voltage concentratedly flows through the protrusion to improve bypassing efficiency to a ground part. Thus, the current due to the overvoltage or the ESD voltage that is above the discharge starting voltage may be effectively bypassed to prevent an internal circuit from being damaged by static electricity.
