摘要: Polybutylene terephthalate has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.7 to 1.0 dL/g and an end carboxyl group concentration of 0.1 to 18 μeq/g, which is produced in a presence of a catalyst comprising a titanium compound and a metal compound containing a metal of Group 2A of the Periodic Table. In the preferable embodiment of the present invention, the polybutylene terephthalate has a crystallization temperature of 170 to 195° C. as measured at a temperature drop rate of 20° C./min using a differential scanning calorimeter, an end vinyl group concentration of not more than 10 μeq/g, and not more than 10% of a solution haze of a solution prepared by dissolving 2.7 g of said polybutylene terephthalate in 20 mL of a mixed solvent containing phenol and tetrachloroethane at a weight ratio of 3:2.The polybutylene terephthalate of the present invention exhibits excellent color tone, hydrolysis resistance, heat stability, transparency and moldability as well as a less content of impurities, which is suitably applicable to films, monofilaments, fibers, electric and electronic parts, automobile parts, etc.

摘要: Polybutylene terephthalate is produced by continuously subjecting terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol to an esterification reaction in the presence of a titanium compound catalyst using one-stage or plural-stage esterification reaction vessel(s) and then subjecting the resultant reaction product to a polycondensation reaction, wherein the esterification reaction between terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol is conducted in the presence of a titanium compound having a specific concentration under a specific pressure at a specific molar ratio between the raw materials. The process avoids undesirable side reactions by continuously conducting esterification reaction using terephthalic acid as a raw material, and can minimize loss of raw materials.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide polybutylene terephthalate which has excellent color tone, hydrolysis resistance, heat stability, transparency and moldability as well as a less content of impurities, can be produced with maintaining its productivity while preventing from generation of tetrahydrofuran as a by-product, and can be suitably applied to films, monofilaments, fibers, electric and electronic parts, automobile parts, etc.In an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a process for continuously producing polybutylene terephthalate from terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol in a presence of a catalyst comprising a titanium compound and a compound of at least one metal selected from Group 1 and Group 2 of the Periodic Table, which process satisfies such the following requirements (a) to (c) that: (a) an oligomer is obtained by conducting a continuously esterification reaction of terephthalic acid and 1,4-butanediol in the presence of titanium catalyst in an amount of not more than 460 μmol as a titanium atom based on 1 mol of terephthalic acid unit; (b) polycondensation reaction of the said oligomer is continuously conducted in the presence of compound of at least one metal selected from Group 1 and Group 2 of the Periodic Table as the catalyst in an amount of not more than 450 μmol as the metal atom based on 1 mol of terephthalic acid unit; and (c) the said compound of at least one metal may be added to a stage before obtaining an oligomer having esterification conversion of not less than 90% in an amount of not more than 300 μmol as the metal atom based on 1 mol of terephthalic acid unit, and the said compound of at least one metal may be added to a stage on or after obtaining an oligomer having esterification conversion of not less than 90% in an amount of not less than 10 μmol as the metal atom based on 1 mol of terephthalic acid unit.

摘要: A method of producing an aliphatic polyester resin by continuously esterifying and melt polycondensing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic diol; and at least one aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid; and at least one of an aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and cis- and trans-isomers of aliphatic unsaturated tricarboxylic acids, wherein the total amount of the at least one aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid and the at least one of aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and cis- and trans-isomers of aliphatic unsaturated tricarboxylic acids is from 0.0010 to 0.50 mol % of the total amount of the aliphatic polyester resin; and the total amount of the at least one aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid is from 1.0 to 7.0 in terms of a molar ratio to the total amount of the at least one of aliphatic unsaturated dicarboxylic acid and cis- and trans-isomers of aliphatic unsaturated tricarboxylic acids.

摘要: A problem of the invention is to provide a process of producing polyesters having a stable quality and a process of producing polyesters with a greatly reduced load against the environment. The invention relates to a process of producing polyesters by using a polycondensation reaction apparatus provided with one or more sets of an ejector, a condenser placed in the downstream portion of the ejector and a hot well tank connected to the condenser via a barometric leg and including a step of driving the ejector by a vapor composed mainly of 1,4-butanediol, condensing the vapor composed mainly of 1,4-butanediol as discharged from the ejector in the condenser placed in the downstream portion of the ejector, and making the reactor in a reduced pressure state to undergo polycondensation reaction, characterized in that the concentration of tetrahydrofuran contained in a sealing liquid in at least one hot well tank is not more than 4% by weight.
