摘要： Photoconductive compositions having both high-speed and high-resolution are disclosed. The composition comprises a film forming electrically insulating polymer and a dye in the form of a dye-dye complex, having a structure according to the formula ##STR1## wherein X.crclbar. represents an anion; the dye has an absorption spectrum which changes when a binderless coating of the dye is treated with solvent vapors, and the composition containing the dye-dye complex has an absorption spectrum which is similar to the changed absorption spectrum of the dye when treated with solvent vapors.

Labeled physiologically active materials useful in specific binding assays such as labeled antigens, heptens, antibodies, hormones and the like comprising the stable fluorescent labels having physiologically active materials adsorbed or bonded thereto are also described.
