Abstract: Network insights may be useful in various communication networks. For example, certain cellular or similar networks may benefit from the delivery of cellular network insights to subscriber devices through service set identifier (SSID). A method can include detecting, by a device, at least one advertised value of non-cellular access, wherein the at least one advertised value is received by the device over a cellular system information block message. The method can also include extracting, from the at least one advertised value, at least one cellular network insight for a cellular network condition.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for selective over the air reconfiguration of unicast MBSFN are provided. One method may include detecting whether a system is physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) limited. When it is detected that the system is physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) limited, the method may include reducing a percentage of subframes that are using unicast multimedia broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN). When it is detected that the system is not physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) limited, the method may include increasing the percentage of subframes that are using unicast multimedia broadcast single frequency network (MBSFN).

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from an improved signaling protocol. For example, an application layer traffic optimization protocol or an over-the-top protocol may benefit from improved signaling in dealing with unattended data. A method, in certain embodiments, may include sending congestion information of a first access point as part of the application layer traffic optimization from a network entity to a user equipment. The congestion information can comprise a first congestion level relating to a first radio interface message value at the first access point and a second congestion level relating to a second radio interface message value at the first access point. In addition, the user equipment may be configured to determine a current level of congestion at the first access point based on the first congestion level, the first radio interface messaging value, the second congestion level, and the second radio interface messaging value.
