    Abstract: This document discloses a solution for scheduling communication resources. According to an aspect, a method comprises: storing, in a memory, a mapping database defining translation specifications between a first resource space and a second resource space, wherein the first resource space is based on at least a first sub-carrier spacing and the second resource space is based on at least a second sub-carrier spacing different from the first sub-carrier spacing; receiving, from a second network node of the wireless network, a scheduling message defining communication resources in the first resource space; translating the communication resources of the first resource space into communication resources of the second resource space by using the mapping database; and communicating a message with the second network node in the communication resources of the second resource space.

Another embodiment is directed to a method comprising receiving a subframe comprising at least one symbol for control information and at least one data symbol; decoding the at least one symbol for control information based on a first subcarrier spacing; and obtaining from the decoded at least one symbol information regarding a second subcarrier spacing used on the at least one data symbol.

    Abstract: In a first subframe, data is sent by a network node in a DL shared channel and a timing indicator is sent in a PDCCH to UE, the timing indicator indicating an offset relative to the first subframe the UE should use in order to determine a second subframe to use to send, in a PUCCH, acknowledgement information for the data received in the DL shared channel of the first subframe. The acknowledgement information is received by the network node from the UE in the PUCCH of the second subframe. The UE receives the data and timing indicator and determines the second subframe using at least the timing indicator. The UE transmits the acknowledgement information in the PUCCH of the second subframe. Apparatus, computer programs and products, and methods are disclosed.

    Abstract: A method for grouping of CS (and comb values) for DM-RS and SRS on shared time-frequency resources is described. The method includes dividing a RS space into at least a first region and a second region. The method also includes allocating, from the first region, a DM-RS sequence CS and/or a DM-RS comb for a DM-RS; and allocating, from the second region, a SRS sequence CS and/or a SRS comb for a SRS. The DM-RS and the SRS are on the same resources on an uplink shared channel (such as a PUSCH for example). The RS space comprises at least one of a CS set and a IFDM comb set. The CS set and/or the IFDM comb set of the first region is based at least in part on a number of physical resource blocks allocated to the uplink shared channel. Apparatus and computer readable media are also described.

    Abstract: Described are methods for dealing with phase noise, e.g., common phase error and/or inter-carrier interference, in communication systems, and apparatuses for the same. A method can include at least: transmitting one or more reference signals (in-band signals within a channel); and mapping the reference signals to radio resources in the channel for transmission of the reference signals. An amount of the radio resources may depend on, e.g., information about a modulation and coding scheme used for transmission. An associated method can include at least: receiving one or more reference signals, and mapping the reference signals to radio resources in the channel for reception of the reference signals; receiving information about a modulation and coding scheme to be used, an amount of the radio resources depending on, e.g., information about the modulation and coding scheme used for reception; and using the reference signals to compensate for phase noise.

    Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved single carrier-based waveform techniques. An apparatus may comprise at least one memory comprising computer program code and at least one processor. The at least one memory and the computer program code are configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus at least to transmit at least one indication of synchronization signal block (SSB) to a network entity. The apparatus further receives at least one bandwidth part comprising at least one SSB associated with CP-OFDM waveform and/or at least one SSB below at least one threshold peak to average ratio. The apparatus further configures at least one waveform based upon the received at least one SSB. The at least one SSB below at least one threshold PAR comprise at least one indication of PDCCH.
