Abstract: A navigation terminal includes a communicator, an alerter, and a processor. The processor obtains destination information indicating a user's destination, obtains first location information indicating the location of the navigation terminal, starts navigation according to a route calculated based on the destination information and the first location information, obtains second location information indicating the location of the navigation terminal after starting the navigation, starts the alerter when the distance from the location indicated by the second location information to a predetermined spot on the route becomes smaller than or equal to the first distance, and causes the communicator to transmit a control signal to a wearable terminal of the user to vibrate a vibrator in the wearable terminal when the distance from the location indicated by the second location information to the predetermined spot becomes smaller than or equal to a second distance smaller than the first distance.

Abstract: A controller that controls driving of an autonomously moving vehicle includes a first sensor that detects an obstacle and a direction of travel of the vehicle, and a processor that sets a virtual region surrounding the vehicle. Processor stops the vehicle when the obstacle is detected therein, determines whether the obstacle is present in the direction of travel, determines whether the vehicle has been stopped for a predetermined amount of time when the obstacle is present, reduces a length of the virtual region in the direction of travel to provide an adjusted virtual region when the vehicle is determined to have been stopped for the predetermined amount of time, causes the vehicle to drive when the obstacle is not detected within the adjusted virtual region, and stops the vehicle when the obstacle is detected within the adjusted virtual region.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling interaction among an information terminal, an electronic mail server, and a wearable terminal. The method causes an information terminal to receive electronic mail from an electronic mail server by using a mail application for executing transmission and reception of the electronic mail, the mail application being stored in a memory of the information terminal. The method also causes the information terminal to transfer the received electronic mail to a wearable terminal having a second display, and to receive viewing information from the wearable terminal, the viewing information indicating that the electronic mail was displayed on the second display. The method further causes the information terminal to determine whether the electronic mail is being displayed on the second display, and to automatically display, on the first display, a reply-mail creation screen for creating a reply mail to the electronic mail.
