Abstract: A camera system includes an image sensor, a wavelength filter, and an imaging optical system. The image sensor has an image capturing plane. The imaging optical system is configured to have light coming from a subject passed through the wavelength filter and imaged on the image capturing plane. The wavelength filter has a perpendicularly incident region and an obliquely incident region. On the perpendicularly incident region, a principal ray, which has passed through the imaging optical system, is incident perpendicularly. On the obliquely incident region, a principal ray, which has passed through the imaging optical system, is incident obliquely. The image sensor has sensitivity to a light ray having a predetermined wavelength. The light ray having the predetermined wavelength is transmitted at a higher transmittance through at least a part of the obliquely incident region than through the perpendicularly incident region.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus in an embodiment includes lens optical systems each including a lens whose surface closest to the target object is shaped to be convex toward the target object, imaging regions which respectively face the lens optical systems and output a photoelectrically converted signal corresponding to an amount of light transmitting the lens optical systems and received by the imaging regions, and a light-transmissive cover which covers an exposed portion of the lens of each of the lens optical systems and a portion between the lens of one of the lens optical systems and the lens of another one of the lens optical systems adjacent to the one of the lens optical systems, the cover having a curved portion which is convex toward the target object. The optical axes of the lens optical systems are parallel to each other.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display; an optical element including a first surface and a second surface; and a reflective member provided on the second surface. The first surface is a convex cylindrical surface whose axial direction is a first direction (parallel to the X axis), allows light emitted from the display to enter, and allows the light reflected by the reflective member to exit. The second surface is a convex cylindrical surface whose axial direction is a second direction (parallel to the Y axis) orthogonal to the first direction. The reflective member includes a reflective surface that reflects the light that has entered from the first surface toward the first surface. The reflective surface is a concave cylindrical surface whose axial direction is the second direction.

Abstract: A display system includes: a display device in a mobile body; a concave mirror for displaying, in a first mode, a virtual image of a display image shown by image light emitted by the display device; and a plane mirror for reflecting, in a second mode, a rear-view image shown by light that has entered the mobile body. In a top view of the mobile body, the display device and the concave mirror are disposed such that a straight line connecting centers of the display device and the concave mirror has a predetermined angle relative to a front-and-rear direction of the mobile body. A normal direction at a center of a concave mirror surface of the concave mirror when the first mode is functioning and a normal direction normal to a plane mirror surface of the plane mirror when the second mode is functioning are not parallel.
