    Abstract: An input device includes: a light source that emits light; a first sheet including a design portion; a second sheet having a conductive pattern on which the light source is mounted and in which a touch sensor electrode is disposed in a position different from the light source; a body that is sandwiched between the first sheet and the second sheet to be integral therewith, and transmits the light emitted by the light source; and a guide disposed in a light path from the light source to the design portion, the guide guiding light transmitting through an inside of the body toward the design portion and being distinguished from the body. The light source and the light guide are disposed along a surface of the second sheet on a side facing the body. The body is integral with the light source and the light guide and encapsulates them.

    Abstract: A display device includes a light guide plate, a first light source, a second light source, and a light transmitting portion. The light guide plate includes a first reflecting prism and a second reflecting prism. The first reflecting prism has an inclined surface that reflects the light incident from the first side surface toward the main surface. The second reflecting prism has an inclined surface that reflects the light incident from the second side surface toward the main surface. The longitudinal direction of the inclined surface of the first reflecting prism is parallel or substantially parallel to a line connecting the second light source and the inclined surface of the first reflecting prism.

    Abstract: A display device includes a light guide plate, and light sources allowing light to be incident on a first side surface and a second side surface of the light guide plate. First incidental side surface light from the first light source is reflected to an upper surface side by first reflection parts formed on a bottom surface to display a first pattern, and second incidental side surface light from the second light source is reflected to the upper surface side by second reflection parts formed on the bottom surface to display a second pattern. Slopes are provided at parts of the first side surface and the second side surface of the light guide plate, and light reflected on a facing reflection surface and propagating in the light guide plate again is reduced by the slopes.

    Abstract: An optical system includes a light guide member having an incident surface, a first surface and a light emergent surface; and at least one prism provided on the first surface and configured to reflect light received by the incident surface and travelling inside the light guide member, towards the light emergent surface. The light guide member provides an optical path along which the light that has entered through the incident surface is directly reflected from the prism and allowed to emerge from the light emergent surface. The light guide member also provides another optical path along which the light that has entered through the incident surface is once reflected from the second surface, reflected again from the prism, and then allowed to emerge from the light emergent surface. The optical system is configured to be coupled to a light source, to illuminate a display system which projects a virtual image onto a target space.
