    摘要： A dielectric material is disclosed comprising a plurality of substantially longitudinally oriented wires which are coupled together, wherein each of the wires includes a conductive core comprising a first material and one or more insulating shell layers comprising a compositionally different second material disposed about the core. In one embodiment, a dielectric layer is disclosed comprising a substrate comprising an insulating material having a plurality of nanoscale pores defined therein having a pore diameter less than about 100 nm, and a conductive material disposed within the nanoscale pores. Methods are also disclosed to create a dielectric material layer comprising, for example, providing a plurality of wires, wherein each of the wires includes a core comprising a first material and one or more insulating layers comprising a compositionally different second material disposed about the core; substantially longitudinally orienting said plurality of wires along their long axes; coupling the wires together; and depositing an insulating coating on at least one of a top and/or a bottom end of the wires.

    摘要： Described are embodiments of a multilaminate or multiple layer implantable surgical graft with an illustrative graft comprising a remodelable collagenous sheet material, the graft including one or more interweaving members to stitch together the graft to help prevent the layers from delaminating or separating during handling and the initial stages of remodeling. The interweaving members may comprise lines of suture, thread, individual stitches, strips of material, etc. that are woven through the layers of biomaterial in a desired pattern. In one embodiment, the interweaving members comprise a pharmacologically active substance, such as a drug, growth factors, etc. to elicit a desired biological response in the host tissue. In another embodiment, the graft further comprises a reinforcing material, such as a synthetic mesh, within the layers of remodelable biomaterial and stitched together by one or more interweaving members.

In one aspect, a method includes receiving from a server an image listing comprising a database identifying one or more images stored on the server; presenting to a user a menu of albums, each album having one or more associated images, based on the image listing; receiving input from the user selecting an album from the menu of albums; transmitting to the server one or more image requests, wherein each image request corresponds to an image associated with the selected album; and generating output to a display device representing an image associated with the selected album based on image data received from the server in response to the image requests. Further, an audio clip associated with the selected album can be identified and one or more audio requests corresponding to the audio clip can be transmitted to the server.

    摘要： A light-emitting diode (LED) in accordance with the invention includes an edge-emitting LED stack having an external emitting surface from which light is emitted, and a reflective element that is located adjacent to at least one external surface of the LED stack other than the external emitting surface. The reflective element receives light that is generated inside the LED stack and reflects the received light back into the LED stack. At least a portion of the reflected light is then emitted from the external emitting surface.
