Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for asynchronous channel access control of a wireless system. In some aspects, a device may adjust the priority of one or more PPDUs and may perform other operations to ensure control of a wireless medium at certain times while still allowing for other devices to communicate on the wireless medium. For example, the device may adjust a backoff counter or one or more EDCA parameters to ensure obtaining control of the wireless medium to transmit a first PPDU of an application file. For one or more subsequent PPDUs of the application file, the device may again adjust a backoff counter or one or more EDCA parameters to allow other devices to obtain control of the wireless medium in certain scenarios (such as a second device to provide information back to the device or to otherwise transmit using the shared wireless medium).

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication at a wireless node, generally including communicating, via a first link, with a first access point (AP) device affiliated with a single mobility domain (SMD) entity, outputting, for transmission to the first AP device, a first message including a first indication that the wireless node is initiating a handover of the wireless node from the first AP device to a second AP device affiliated with the SMD entity, communicating with the second AP device via a second link during the handover after obtaining a second indication that context information has been transferred from the first AP device to the second AP device, and disabling the first link with the first AP device after obtaining a third indication that triggers the wireless node to disable the first link with the first AP device.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish a first communication connection associated with a first subscription or associated with a first network slice, wherein the first communication connection is a default connection for the UE for data traffic. The UE may establish a second communication connection associated with a second subscription or associated with a second network slice. The UE may receive, from a device via a wireless local area network provided by the UE or via a wired connection, a data traffic packet associated with one or more parameters. The UE may route the data traffic packet to the second communication connection based at least in part on the one or more parameters. Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for separately scheduling and grouping multiple wireless local area network (WLAN) users are disclosed. The apparatuses and methods include scheduling, at an access point (AP), multiple wireless stations (STAs) associated with the AP; identifying based at least in part on the ranking, a group of STAs from the STAs for transmission of data over a single orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) frame in a WLAN; and providing information resulting from scheduling the STAs and identifying the group of STAs to at least one of the STAs. In others aspects, the apparatuses and methods include receiving at an STA from an AP, scheduling information for a group of STAs including the STA; and transmitting based on the scheduling information, data over an OFDMA frame in an unlicensed or shared spectrum, the STA having a traffic load different from the traffic load of the at least one additional STA.

According to certain aspects, a method for wireless communications is provided. The method generally includes receiving, on a shared access medium, a packet having at least one deferral-related parameter and deciding whether to defer transmission on the shared access medium based, at least in part, on the deferral-related parameter. Another method may generally include generating a packet comprising at least one deferral-related parameter to be used by another apparatus for deciding whether or not the other apparatus should defer transmitting on a shared access medium and providing the packet to the other apparatus.

In some aspects, a device may use a TWT session to communicate with a second device during one or more TWT service periods. Uplink and downlink communications may be coordinated to both be in a TWT service period to allow a device to enter a low power mode outside of the TWT service period. The TWT session, including the service periods, may be configured and managed by the device or the second device to ensure the communications associated with an XR experience between the devices (such as pose data frames or tracking frames provided as uplink data and video data frames provided as downlink data) meet latency requirements or other requirements for the XR experience. Use of TWT service periods allows other devices to use the wireless medium outside of the TWT service periods.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for grouping in multi-user multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) systems by using limited probing. With more wireless stations (STAs) being used in MU-MIMO groups, the probing used to obtain packet error metrics to determine the throughput for selecting the MU-MIMO groups for transmission can become more complex and involve a larger overhead. To reduce the probing overhead, various techniques are described in this disclosure. For example, an access point (AP) can identify a trigger to initiate a packet error probing. In response to the trigger, the AP embeds one or more probing packets that are part of the packet error probing within a short interframe space (SIFS)-burst data transmission process to take advantage of the existing structure of the process. Then, the AP can update at least one packet error metric (e.g., packet error rate or PER) based on feedback received in response to the probing packets.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems for acknowledgment (ACK) processing associated with medium access control (MAC) header verification, payload verification, or both. Some aspects more specifically relate to a first wireless device advertising a processing capability associated with performing MAC protocol data unit (MPDU) verification, including MAC header verification, payload verification, or both. In some implementations, the processing capability may include a processing latency to perform the verification, a threshold quantity of MPDUs supported for the verification within a short interframe spacing (SIFS) time interval, or both. The first wireless device may transmit an indication of the processing capability to a second wireless device. In some implementations, the second wireless device may transmit MPDUs to the first wireless device in accordance with the processing capability. Additionally, or alternatively, the first wireless device may transmit an ACK frame for the MPDUs in accordance with the processing capability.
