Abstract: In some aspects, a device may obtain information indicating a seating configuration for a vehicle, and determine, in accordance with the seating configuration, that there is a change to an orientation of a seat from a front-facing orientation to a rear-facing orientation or from the rear-facing orientation to the front-facing orientation. The device may cause, in accordance with the change to the orientation of the seat, an adjustment of a mapping of audio channels to speakers of the vehicle. The device may determine, in accordance with the seating configuration, that the adjustment of the mapping is to cause disagreement between visual content on a display device associated with an additional seat and multiple-channel audio to be output by the speakers, and cause an adjustment of the visual content on the display device to cause agreement between the visual content and the multiple-channel audio. Abstract: A device may be configured to alert a user while the user is listening to audio over headphones. For example, the device may be configured to alert the user of the device, such as by reducing the volume of an audio signal output through the headphones and/or by providing a visual alert to the user on a display of the device. The device may compare a volume level of an outputted audio signal to a threshold. The device may activate a microphone based on the comparison of the volume level to the threshold. When the microphone is activated, the device may provide an alert to a user based on a determination that a received audio signal includes a portion that corresponds to a predetermined value.

Abstract: Methods for capturing intended subjects in an image are disclosed. Various embodiments may include determining a first quantity of a bilateral body part of individuals visible in a first preview image obtained by a first camera-lens combination having a first field of view, and automatically selecting one of a plurality of camera-lens combinations to use in capturing an image based on the first quantity of the bilateral body part of individuals visible in the first preview image. Some embodiments may include selecting a wide-angle camera-lens combination in response to the determined quantity of the bilateral body part of individuals visible in a first preview image is odd. Some embodiments may include automatically switching back to a standard or default camera-lens combination if an individual added in a wide-angle image is separated from the individuals visible in the first preview image by a predetermined threshold distance or distance ratio.

Abstract: Various features related to selectively forwarding alerts/notifications for communications received at a first device to a paired device based on a user's privacy settings, are described. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus maybe a first device, e.g., a UE, including at least one processor. In some configurations, the at least one processor is configured to receive a communication, and determine whether the communication is from a contact associated with a restricted group. The at least one processor maybe further configured to perform, based on the determining, one of: blocking an alert corresponding to the communication from being forwarded to a second device, or forwarding the alert corresponding to the communication to the second device. The second device maybe one of a wearable device, a car infotainment unit, a home entertainment unit, or a business conferencing unit, paired with the first device.

An imaging system can receive image data from an image sensor with different sets of photodetectors sensitive to different electromagnetic (EM) frequency domains. The imaging system determines, based on image data of a scene received from the image sensor, a first focus setting for focusing on the scene using the image sensor in the first domain. The imaging system determines, based on the first focus setting and a difference between respective characteristics of the first domain and a second domain, a second focus setting for focusing on the scene using the image sensor in the second domain.
