A switching device is disposed between an external network interface and multiple internal network ports. Based on a network data type indicia, urgent data frames are routed to one of the ports, and non-urgent data frames are routed to another port. A processor coupled to the internal network ports handles urgent data frames before handling any non-urgent data frames.

    摘要: A power system device-to-device direct communication system comprises a first intelligent electronic device with a processor and a transmit module. Software within the processor maintains a list of “virtual outputs,” which correspond to a number of data channels maintained within the transmit module. The second intelligent electronic device receives the data channels from the first intelligent electronic device and extracts the virtual output bits. The second intelligent electronic device then adjusts a group of its own output contacts in accordance with the received virtual output bits.

    摘要: A system for controlling and automating an electric power delivery system by executing time coordinated instruction sets to achieve a desired result. A communication master may implement the execution of time coordinated instruction sets in a variety of circumstances. The communication may be embodied as an automation controller in communication with intelligent electronic devices (IEDs). The communication master may also be embodied as an IED that is configured to coordinate the actions of other IEDs. The time coordinated instruction sets may include steps for checking status of power system equipment before executing. The time coordinated instruction sets may include reactionary steps to execute if one of the steps fails. The time coordinated instruction sets may also be implemented based on a condition detected in the electric power delivery system, or may be implemented through high level systems, such as a SCADA system or a wide area control and situational awareness system.

    摘要: A system is described that includes a known fuels database of data from gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analyses of a library of fuels with known fuel properties for a multiple known fuel samples. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry equipment can acquire gas chromatography-mass spectrometry data for an unknown fuel sample. A metaspectrum module can accept and transform the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry data collected by the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry equipment for the unknown fuel sample into a single metaspectrum for the unknown fuel sample, wherein the metaspectrum is a quantitative representation of every compound detected in the unknown fuel sample. A correlation module can correlate the metaspectrum for the unknown fuel sample to a plurality of fuel properties of known fuel samples using a regression model to predict fuel properties for the unknown fuel sample. A reporting module can report the fuel properties for the unknown fuel sample to a user.
