Abstract: The strength measuring apparatus includes: a strength measuring instrument measuring the strength of the mold on the basis of a reaction force received from the mold; a moving unit moving the strength measuring instrument; a distance sensor measuring a distance to an object on the conveyance line; and a control unit controlling the moving unit, wherein the control unit determines a measurement position of the strength measuring instrument in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction of the conveyance line on the basis of the distance detected by the distance sensor and controls the moving unit to move the strength measuring instrument to a position above the measurement position.

Abstract: Provided is a technique that allows an operator or the like to easily perceive a tendency of defects which are present in molds or patterns. A display device displays a result of inspection of a plurality of molds or a plurality of patterns which are inspection target objects. The display device classifies the inspection target objects into a plurality of groups, generates, for each of the plurality of groups, a heat map image from a result of defect inspection of one or more of inspection target objects which are classified into the each of the plurality of groups, the heat map image representing a spatial distribution of defect occurrence frequencies; and causes a display to display one or more of the heat map images generated, the one or more heat map images corresponding to one or more groups specified by a user from among the plurality of groups.

Abstract: An object is to accurately estimate loss-on-ignition in a short time. A loss-on-ignition estimation apparatus includes at least one processor configured to carry out an estimation step, the estimation step including estimating the loss-on-ignition of foundry sand with use of a learned model constructed by means of machine learning. The learned model is configured to receive, as input, (1) sand weight data relating to a weight of the foundry sand detected in a calcination period and (2) at least one of (i) sand property data relating to one or more properties of the foundry sand, (ii) additive data relating to one or more additives added to the foundry sand, and (iii) calcination environment data relating to a calcination environment detected in the calcination period. The learned model is configured to generate, as output, an estimated loss-on-ignition of the foundry sand.
