    摘要: Described herein is a terminal connector retainer particularly suitable for use with a wire harness connector, which is fittingly interlockable with a rear portion of a connector housing for securely and extractably anchoring terminal members in terminal compartments in the connector housing. The terminal connector basically includes; a frame-like body internally provided with openings for insertion therethrough of wires with terminal members, and a plural number of resilient terminal anchoring fingers extending forwardly into the terminal compartments in the connector housing; the resilient anchoring fingers being capable of restoring an original form by the resiliency thereof when the retainer is in a finally interlocked state, and in the restored original form anchoring the terminal members securely in position in the respective terminal compartments in the connector housing.

    摘要: A guide wall and a recessed portion for accommodating therein a female-female terminal are formed in a lower case, and in an intermediate plate, a through hole through which an electric connection portion which is in abutment with the guide wall is formed and a guide portion is provided at a lower edge portion of the through hole so formed so as to protrude therefrom so as to be brought into abutment with the electric connection portion, so that the electric connection portion is guided into the through hole. Thus, by inserting the intermediate plate between the upper case and the lower case so as to be held therebetween, the guide portion automatically corrects the bend of the electric connection portion.

The housing having the hollow body with tapered shoulder, a male mold having the trapezoidal engaging portion and a female mold beveled or thinned at the open edge are employed for implementing the method.

    摘要: A connector having an engagement detecting device, comprises: a first connector housing for housing a plurality of first connector terminals; a second connector housing for housing a plurality of second connector terminals mated with the first connector terminals, and engaged with the first connector housing; a slider inserted into the first connector housing in two stages of a half engagement position and a full engagement position; and a short-circuit spring disposed within the first connector housing, for shorting electrically two adjacent mated connector terminals when the slider is inserted into the first connector housing to the half engagement position, but disconnecting electrically the same two adjacent mated connector terminals when the second connector housing is engaged with the first connector housing and thereafter the slider is further inserted into the first connector housing to the full engagement position. The short-circuit spring can apply a reaction force to the slider when the slider is further inserted to the full engagement position, thus providing a stable connector engagement detecting device while decreasing the number of parts.
