摘要: There is provided a waterproof connector structure which includes a pair of connector housings. An opening end portion of a cylindrical body of one connector housing is inserted into an opening end portion of a cylindrical body of another connector housing at the time of fitting. One cylindrical body has a projection part which is provided to protrude outward in a radial direction from the opening end portion thereof entirely in a circumferential direction. The projection part is provided on a front side in a fitting direction from an opening part of a terminal receiving chamber surrounded by the one cylindrical body.

The splice connector assembly can include an outer housing with an inner passage configured to receive the terminals. A first securing mechanism can be engaged with a first end of the outer housing and a second securing mechanism can be engaged with a second end of outer housing. The first and second securing mechanisms can each include a coupling nut engaged with the housing, a washer that is non-rotatably connected to the housing, and a sealing gland that comprises an aperture having a non-concentric cross sectional shape.

摘要: An aspect of the invention is directed to a method for producing a connector using injection-molding by providing at least one conductor and at least one contact pin which are electrically connected at a contact point, producing a thermoset premold from a thermoset using injection-molding, wherein the thermoset is injection-molded around at least a first section of the at least one conductor and/or around at least a second section of the at least one contact pin, and injection-molding of a thermoplast on the thermoset premold, wherein the step of injection-molding takes place before the thermoset premold has obtained a degree of curing of 90%. Another aspect of the invention is a connector comprising at least one conductor and at least one contact pin is disclosed.

摘要: Implantable medical devices include elongated conductor bodies and related features including an attachment to the medical device at one end and a connector that receives a medical lead at the other end. The connector may have various features such as a modular design whereby the connector is constructed from a series of stacked contact modules. Other features of the connector include electrical contacts that are relatively thin conductors or the order of 0.040 inches or less and that may include radial protrusions to establish contact with the electrical connectors of the lead. Furthermore, electrical contacts may be mounted within the connector in a floating manner so that radial movement of the electrical contact may occur during lead insertion. Additional features include a feedthrough where conductors exposed beyond a housing of the implantable medical device make direct electrical connection to conductors present within the elongated body.

Specifically, the transition portion (4) has a cross-sectional shape in which upper edge portions of side portions (8a) are bent inward. As the surface (14) approaches a main terminal body (3) from a sealing portion (22), the surface (14) gradually separates away from the bottom portion (6a) and the edge portions of the surface (14) gradually open outward and connect to side portions (8b) of the main terminal body (3). The surface (14) is formed so as to be curved upward, in a cross-section, from the end portion of the sealing portion (22).

The placement portion clamps the distal end portion of the heat-shrinkable tube between the placement portion and a bottom portion of the terminal on which the wire held by the terminal holding portion is arranged. A placement surface of the placement portion on which the distal end portion of the heat-shrinkable tube is placed is disposed at a higher position than a lower surface of the counterpart connecting portion of the terminal held by the terminal holding portion.
