    摘要: A swage tool includes a power unit connected to a yoke. The power unit exerts vertical force on a die block. The yoke holds swage dies in place and opposes the force exerted by the die block. The die block transfers the load exerted by the power unit into the swage dies, which surround the connector. The swage dies convert vertical force from the power unit into a radial swage on the connector. Quick release endplates hold the swage dies in place in the yoke and the die block. A yoke shroud keeps broken pieces of the yoke together if the yoke fails. A counter records the number of swages made by the tool. A rotating handle, a stand, remote wireless actuation and swage die identification imprints are also provided.

    摘要: A workstation and method for the installation of a pulling head assembly onto one or more conductors of a cabling system are provided. The workstation incorporates one or more of: a conductor clamp that holds the conductors of the cabling system in place during the installation of the pulling head assembly; a cutting guide having indicia marks that indicate the lengths to which to cut the conductors in order to achieve a staggered pattern of pulling eyes attached to the conductors in the pulling head assembly; a stripping tool that is used to remove a portion of the insulation from the terminal end of each conductor so that the end of the conductor may be inserted into the pulling eye; and a crimping tool that is used to crimp the pulling eyes onto the terminal ends of each of the conductors.

    摘要: A clamping jaw of a connecting terminal includes a rotary cylinder assembly configured for achieving different swing angles for clamping different types of connecting terminals. The rotary cylinder assembly includes a rotating shaft for providing a driving force through rotating cylinder and an initial state limit part. A first state limit part is configured to position the rotating cylinder in a first rotation angle and a second state limit part has a working and non-working position. When the second state limit part is in the working position, it is configured to position the rotating cylinder in a second rotation angle. When the second state limit part is in the non-working position, it is configured to position the rotating cylinder in the first rotation angle. The second rotation angle is smaller than the first rotation angle.

    摘要: This disclosure relates to a method for connecting a strand element to a connection element using a re-shaping method, such as a connecting a cable lug. A system is also disclosed which comprises a pair of receiving elements having a front side with a recess and a hollow section. The hollow section is designed to accommodate a press insert having a front side with a recess. The receiving element and the press inserts are arranged in a vice. The system also comprises a clamp having a front side with a recess, which is suitable for receiving the connection element. When a pair of receiving elements is arranged, together with the press insert, around a central region of the connection element, then a re-shaping connection, such as a crimp connection, is produced between the strand element and the connection element.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a terminal-equipped electric wire includes forming, in an electric wire, a bonded portion in which strands of a conductor exposed due to absence of a sheath are bonded to each other. A terminal including a wire barrel portion is fixed to the electric wire such that the wire barrel portion covers at least a part of the bonded portion. A sectional shape of the bonded portion before the fixing of the terminal is formed in such a shape that a variable range of a value of a distance between a geometric center of a cross section of the bonded portion and the wire barrel portion falls within a range of 0.71 to 1.29 when rotating the bonded portion by an arbitrary angle while engaging the bonded portion with the wire barrel portion within the wire barrel portion.
