    摘要: A pressing tool performs a pressing operation for the press fitting of parts. One part can have different outer dimensions within a specified range. A tool part acts on the part, is a part of a pivoting jaw which has an action surface, and can be pivoted about a pivot axis from a starting position having a greatest opening width to a pressing position having a smaller opening width. A hydraulic piston movable in a hydraulic cylinder applies a piston force, depending on a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic cylinder. A higher pressing force is in effect when a greater opening width of the pivoting jaw is provided and when the maximum piston force is reached. When any opening width that is smaller than the greater opening width is provided, a pressing force lower than the higher pressing force is in effect when the maximum piston force is reached.

    摘要: A tool for producing an arrangement composed of an electrical line and a contact device with a crimp sleeve includes a first press jaw unit and a guide unit. The first press jaw unit delimits a tool receptacle and receives the crimp sleeve and the electrical line. The first press jaw unit has a first press jaw with a first press surface and a second press jaw with a second press surface. The second press surface is adjustable between a first press position positioned radially inwardly and a second press position. The guide unit provides a first pressing force transmitted into the first press surface and from the first press jaw to the second press jaw. The first press surface stamps a first stamped indentation and the second press surface stamps a second stamped indentation into the crimp sleeve to crimp the crimp sleeve on the electrical line.

    摘要: A method aligns a crimping cassette crimping tool in a cable processing apparatus having a tensioning device for applying tension to a mounting part relative to a crimping device attachment surface. The crimping cassette includes the crimping tool having cooperating stationary and movable tool parts for crimping and a holding device that attaches to the mounting part fixed to the stationary tool part and has a position allowing a spatially-limited adjustment movement of the stationary tool part. The method includes releasing the tensioning device; inserting the stationary tool part into a tensioning device area; moving the moveable tool part towards the stationary tool part slightly before it touches the stationary tool part; moving the moveable tool part towards the stationary tool part until a pressing force between the tool parts is reached or exceeded and an alignment occurs between the tool parts; and applying tension with the tensioning device.

    摘要: An electric wire is terminated with a wire terminal. The electric wire includes a conductor composed of strands and a sheath. The wire terminal includes a wire barrel portion that composed of a bottom plate, a first side plate extending from one side edge of the bottom plate and a second side plate extending from another side edge of the bottom plate. The wire barrel portion holds the conductor exposed from the sheath to make an electrical connection with the strands. The number of the strands contacting directly with the first side plate gradually changes along a longitudinal direction of the conductor. The number of the strands contacting directly with the second side plate gradually changes along the longitudinal direction inversely with respect to the first side plate.

    摘要: A terminal locator for holding a terminal in a crimping zone of a terminal crimping device includes a housing configured to be positioned forward of crimp tooling defining the crimping zone. The housing has a terminal cavity extending along a terminal axis configured to receive the terminal such that a crimp barrel of the terminal extends rearward of the housing along the terminal axis into the crimping zone for crimping to a wire. A spacer is held by the housing. The spacer has a spacer blocking surface configured to locate the terminal and block axial rearward movement of the terminal. A latch is held by the housing. The latch is deflectable to allow insertion and removal of the terminal from the terminal cavity, the latch having a latch blocking surface configured to locate the terminal and block axial forward movement of the terminal.
