Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a light emitting structure disposed on the substrate in the display area, a thin film encapsulation layer disposed on the light emitting structure, an optical structure including a first refractive pattern and a second refractive pattern, and a partition wall disposed on the substrate in the non-display area and surrounding the second refractive pattern. The first refractive pattern is disposed on the thin film encapsulation layer, and overlaps the light emitting structure. The second refractive pattern covers the first refractive pattern, has a refractive index smaller than a refractive index of the first refractive pattern, and includes an organic material.

A first opening corresponding to the emission region of the pixel of the second group is formed in the organic layer, and a first light blocking opening corresponding to the first opening is formed in the light blocking pattern.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a display panel including a first electrode, a pixel defining layer including a first opening that exposes at least a portion of the first electrode, a light emitting layer disposed on the first electrode, a display device layer including a second electrode disposed on the light emitting layer, and a thin-film encapsulation layer that overlaps the display device layer, an input sensing panel disposed on the thin-film encapsulation layer and including a sensing insulation layer and a conductive layer, and an organic insulation layer that overlaps the sensing insulation layer and includes a second opening overlapping the first opening. A side surface of the organic insulation layer defines the second opening and includes protruding side surfaces inclined in different directions from a side surface of the pixel defining layer, and the side surface of the pixel defining layer defines the first opening.
