Abstract:
A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels and that displays an image in a display area, and a driving controller which receives an image signal, drives the plurality of pixels, where the driving controller includes a compensation unit, and the plurality of pixels include a first pixel disposed in a central area of the display area and a second pixel spaced apart from the central area by a preset distance, the compensation unit outputs compensation data for controlling luminance of the image, and the display panel displays the image, in which a first luminance of the first pixel is less than a second luminance of the second pixel with respect to a same luminance value, based on the compensation data.
Abstract:
A head mount display device includes a display panel including pixels, a shifter that divides the display panel into a reference area including a reference point and a peripheral area surrounding the reference area, and determines each of the reference area and the peripheral area as one of an upscaling area and a downscaling area, and a scaler that scales input image data based on the upscaling area and the downscaling area.
Abstract:
A thin film transistor substrate includes a substrate; a gate electrode on the substrate; a semiconductor pattern on the gate electrode; a source electrode on the semiconductor pattern; a drain electrode on the semiconductor pattern and spaced apart from the source electrode; a pixel electrode connected to the drain electrode; and a common electrode partially overlapped with the pixel electrode. The semiconductor pattern is in a same layer of the thin film transistor substrate as the pixel electrode and has an electrical property different from an electrical property of the pixel electrode.
