Abstract: A display panel includes a plurality of pixels, data lines, gate lines, a gate driver and terminals. The plurality of pixels form a plurality of rows and columns. The plurality of data lines extend in a first direction parallel to the pixel columns. Each data line is connected to at least two adjacent pixels included in a single pixel row. The plurality of gate lines extend in a second direction parallel with the plurality of pixel rows. The gate lines each connect to at least one pixel included in a single pixel row. At least two gate lines are disposed between two adjacent pixel rows. The gate driver generates signals to drive the plurality of gate lines. The plurality of terminals receives the gate signals to transmit the gate signals to the plurality of gate lines. Some of the terminals connect with some gate lines having a cross-coupled structure.

Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed that includes a display panel, a data driving circuit, a scan driving circuit, and a driving controller. The driving controller generates image data based on a received image signal. The driving controller includes a minimum emission gray level determining unit that determines a gray level of the image signal, a pattern determining unit that determines a dither pattern of the image signal, a driving frequency sensing unit that determines a driving frequency of the image signal, and a data compensation unit that compensates for the image data based on the gray level and at least one of the dither pattern and the driving frequency.

Abstract: An image processing circuit includes a memory, a gamma converter which converts a first image data signal of a frame to a current image data signal thereof corresponding to first or second gamma types based on a spatial distribution pattern, a compression circuit which separates the current image data signal into first and second gamma signals corresponding to the first and second gamma types and compresses the first and second gamma signals to first and second compression gamma signals to store the first and second compression gamma signals, a decompression circuit which output a previous image data signal of a previous frame by decompressing the first and second compression gamma signals and combines first and second decompression gamma signals, and a gamma correction circuit which performs a gamma adjustment based on current and previous image data signals to output a second image data signal.

The degradation compensator generates a first fitting function and a second fitting function based on image data, generates a compensation function through a harmonic mean of the first and second fitting functions, and generates a compensation value based on the compensation function. The controller receives the compensation value, and generates input image data to which the compensation value is applied. The data driver receives the input image data to which the compensation value is applied, and converts the input image data into a data voltage. The display panel includes pixels, in which each of the pixels includes a pixel circuit which receives the data voltage and a light-emitting element electrically connected to the pixel circuit.
