    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a controller which generates control signals and outputs image data, a compensating circuit which receives a portion of the control signals from the controller and generates a compensation signal, a voltage generating circuit which converts an input voltage to a driving voltage and increases or decreases a voltage level of the driving voltage in a frame period in response to the compensation signal, a driving part which receives the control signals and the image data from the controller and receives the driving voltage from the voltage generating circuit to generate a panel driving signal, and a display panel which receives the panel driving signal from the driving part to display an image.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a display panel, a timing controller, a gate driver, and a data driver. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The timing controller receives an image data, compares a previous line data with a present line data to determine whether the present line data needs to be compensated, and generates a first modulation line data. In addition, the timing controller calculates the first modulation data and a delay compensation value to generate a second modulation line data. The delay compensation value is decided from reference delay compensation values of reference pixels among the pixels.

    Abstract: A timing controller resetting circuit including: a resistor connected to an output node from which a reset signal is output and a first voltage source which supplies a first voltage; a capacitor connected to the output node and a second voltage source which supplies a second voltage that is lower than the first voltage; a reference voltage source configured to generate a reference voltage that is lower than the first voltage and higher than the second voltage; a comparator including a first input terminal which receives the first voltage, a second input terminal which receives the reference voltage, and an output terminal which outputs a comparison result signal generated by comparing the first voltage with the reference voltage; and a transistor including a first terminal which is connected to the output node, a second terminal which receives the second voltage, and a gate terminal which receives the comparison result signal.

    Abstract: A method includes applying a common voltage to a display panel, digitally converting a feedback common voltage from the display panel, detecting an effective ripple signal exceeding a reference value based on the digitally converted feedback common voltage, comparing a total number of effective ripple signals detected during a first frame period with a threshold value, determining whether the effective ripple signals of the first frame period are crosstalk inducing signals based on a comparison result, and determining whether to change a polarity pattern of image data signals to be applied to the display panel during a second frame period based on a determination result in terms of the crosstalk inducing signal.

In a pair of adjacent pixel columns, pixels, which are connected to the first gate line of their respective pixel row, are arranged in a zigzag arrangement in the first direction.
