    Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate; a plurality of transistors disposed on the substrate; an insulating layer disposed on the plurality of transistors; a data line and a driving voltage line disposed on the insulating layer; a pixel electrode disposed on the data line or the driving voltage line; a pixel defining layer disposed on the pixel electrode and including a pixel opening that overlaps the pixel electrode; a light emitting element layer disposed in the pixel opening; and a common electrode disposed on the light emitting element layer, wherein the pixel opening includes a first sub-pixel opening and a second sub-pixel opening and a first blocking portion that is disposed between the first sub-pixel opening and the second sub-pixel opening.

    Abstract: Provided is display device and method for manufacturing the display device. A display device includes a substrate, a light emitting element layer disposed on the substrate, including a plurality of light emitting elements configured to emit light, a light control layer disposed on the light emitting element layer, including a light-transmitting layer configured to transmit the light, and a light-blocking layer configured to block the light. The display device further includes a first layer including at least one of a thin film encapsulation layer or a touch sensor layer, wherein the first layer is disposed between the light emitting element layer and the light control layer, and a groove passing through at least a portion of the first layer, wherein the light-blocking layer is disposed on the groove.
