    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal layer between a first substrate and a second substrate, a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines on the first substrate, and a plurality of pixels connected to the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines, the plurality of pixels including a pixel electrode and a switching element connected to the pixel electrode, wherein pixel electrodes in one of an odd-numbered row and an even-numbered row are in odd-numbered columns, respectively, and wherein pixel electrodes in the other of the odd-numbered row and the even numbered row are in even-numbered columns, respectively.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides a pixel and a method of aging the pixel for reducing or preventing damage to a display element during aging of a driving transistor, the pixel including a display element including an anode and a cathode, a first transistor configured to control a magnitude of a driving current flowing to the display element in response to a gate-source voltage, the first transistor including a first gate electrode configured to function as a gate of the first transistor, a semiconductor layer, and a second gate electrode in a floating state between the first gate electrode and the semiconductor layer, and a second transistor configured to deliver a first voltage to the first transistor in response to a first scan signal.
