Abstract:
An air conditioner and a control method thereof perform cooling through an outlet if room temperature or room humidity is high to reduce the room temperature or the room humidity, and closing the outlet to perform cooling at low velocity through an outlet hole if room temperature or room humidity reaches a predetermined value so that a user can little feel the wind velocity of cooling of the air conditioner, while maintaining indoor space at pleasant temperature or humidity. By performing cooling at low velocity through the outlet hole formed in the lower portion of the air conditioner, it is possible to cool the lower area of indoor space at pleasant temperature when a user is asleep.
Abstract:
An air conditioner which comprises: a temperature sensor; and a processor that obtains, based on receiving a turn-on command for the air conditioner, a first temperature value sensed through the temperature sensor; based on a threshold time elapsing subsequent to the receiving of the turn-on command, obtains a second temperature value sensed through the temperature sensor; and provides notification information related to an environment in which the air conditioner is installed, on the basis of the first temperature value and the second temperature value.
Abstract:
An air conditioner maintains a pleasant indoor temperature or humidity without making a user feel wind speed. The air conditioner includes a housing comprising a discharge plate having a plurality of discharge holes and an outlet, a heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with air introduced into the housing, a blower fan configured to allow the heat-exchanged air to flow through the discharge plate or the outlet, a discharge blade having a plurality of blade holes and configured to open and close the outlet; and a controller configured to control the heat-exchanged air to be discharged through the discharge holes and the blade holes when the outlet is closed and configured to reduce a frequency of a compressor to a predetermined value when an indoor relative humidity is within a predetermined range.

Abstract:
An indoor unit of an air conditioner has an improved discharge structure of air. The indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a panel which defines an external appearance thereof and has an opening, a mixed flow fan which is located within the panel, a heat exchanger unit which is located rearward of the mixed flow fan, an inlet port which is located rearward of the heat exchanger unit so that air is suctioned from rearward of the heat exchanger unit to be introduced into the mixed flow fan, an outlet port which is exposed forward of the panel through the opening so that the air passing though the mixed flow fan is discharged through a front portion of the panel, and a plurality of circular louvers to open and close the outlet port by moving outwards from a center of the outlet port.
Abstract:
A display device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an input unit, a storage unit, a display unit for displaying a menu for providing at least one function, and a control unit, which generates a user pattern, including function information corresponding to an execution command and information about the time at which the execution command was received, when receiving the execution command from a user, controls the storage unit so as to store the generated user pattern, reconfigures the menu on the basis of the user pattern, and controls the display unit so as to display the reconfigured menu.
Abstract:
An air cleaner including a first air cleaning module including a first body, a first suctioner disposed at a lower portion of the first body, and a first discharger disposed at an upper portion of the first body, wherein the first discharger discharges air that entered into the first suctioner and then passed through a first filter module, and a second air cleaning module configured to be detachably coupled to an upper end of the first air cleaning module and include a second body, a second suctioner disposed at an upper portion of the second body, and a second discharger disposed at a lower portion of the second body, wherein the second discharger discharges air that entered into the second suctioner and then passed through a second filter, a direction from a position at which the first suctioner is disposed toward a position at which the first discharger is disposed is provided as a first arrangement direction, and a second arrangement direction, that is a direction from a position at which the second suctioner is disposed toward a position at which the second discharger is disposed, is provided to be the direction opposite to the first arrangement direction.
Abstract:
An air conditioner includes: a fan configured to discharge air cooled by a refrigerant; and at least one processor configured to receive a user input for setting an airflow volume of air to be discharged and a desired temperature, increase a frequency of the compressor to a first critical frequency and maintain the frequency of the compressor as the first critical frequency in response to determining that a temperature difference between an indoor temperature and a desired temperature exceeds the critical temperature difference while controlling the fan to discharge the air with the set airflow volume, determine whether an unsatisfactory condition has occurred, based on at least one cool air-conditioning sensation measurement item while maintaining the first critical frequency, and increase the frequency of the compressor to a second critical frequency to further decrease a current temperature of the air in response to determining that the unsatisfactory situation has occurred.
