    Abstract: An electronic device according to certain embodiments comprises: a digitizer panel; and a printed circuit board electrically connected to the digitizer panel, wherein the digitizer panel includes: a body including an insulating layer, a first layer laminated on a first surface of the insulating layer and including first connection pads, a second layer laminated on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the insulating layer, signal patterns included in the first layer and the second layer, and dummy patterns electrically disconnected from the signal patterns, and a connection part including second connection pads corresponding to the first connection pads and electrically connected to the printed circuit board, wherein the signal patterns included in the first layer and the signal patterns included in the second layer are electrically connected to each other by a via hole disposed in the insulating layer, and dummy patterns are arranged in a pad region of the second layer facing a portion in which the first connection pads are arranged.

    Abstract: An electronic device and a method capable of reducing an afterimage of a display are provided. The method includes the operations of where a display panel is divided into a first area and a second area, in response to a specified event, controlling a display panel in a partial display state in which a first area is deactivated and a second area is activated, while the display panel is in the partial display state, dividing each frame into a first sub-period and a second sub-period, and controlling first pixels corresponding to the first area, controlling the first pixels to receive a data voltage corresponding to an inactive state, by supplying the first gate signal to the first pixels in the first sub-period, and controlling the first pixels to receive a bias voltage, by supplying the first gate signal to the first pixels in the second sub-period.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, at least one optical sensor, a display driver, at least one processor, and a memory. The display includes a plurality of pixels, and a plurality of color filters disposed on top of the plurality of pixels. The at least one optical sensor may generate an ultraviolet light exposure value in accordance with the exposure of the plurality of color filters to ultraviolet light. The display driver may control the driving of the display. The at least one processor may control the driving of the display driver. The memory may be operatively connected to the at least one processor. The memory may store instructions which, when executed, allow the at least one processor to calculate a radiation amount based on the value of exposure to ultraviolet rays and exposure time, and compensate color deviation of the plurality of pixels in accordance with deterioration of the plurality of color filters based on the radiation amount.

    Abstract: A foldable electronic device includes: a display panel including a pixel array, a first region, a second region, and a folding region interposed between the first region and the second region, a plurality of gate lines connected with respective gates of a plurality of transistors included in the pixel array and extending in a first direction, a plurality of data lines connected with respective sources of the plurality of transistors and extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, a gate driving circuit connected with the plurality of gate lines, a display driver integrated circuit (DDI) connected with the plurality of data lines, a first detection line connecting a first gate line of the plurality of gate lines corresponding to the folding region with the DDI, a processor, and a memory operatively connected with the processor. The foldable electronic device is configured to be folded as the folding region is bent such that the first region corresponds to the second region, the DDI is configured to detect a first gate driving voltage applied to the first gate line by the gate driving circuit using the first detection line, and to transmit, to the processor, defect information indicating that the folding region is defective based on the first gate driving voltage being less than a reference voltage, and the memory stores instructions which when executed, cause the processor to: receive the defect information from the DDI, identify at least a portion of the folding region and/or the second region, based on the defect information as a defective region, and control the display panel to display an execution screen on the first region based on the identified defective region.
