Abstract: A method performed by an electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving, through a distance detection sensor, second signals in which a first signal transmitted through the distance detection sensor is reflected by an external object, identifying a distance from the external object based on at least a part of the second signals, obtaining a deviation information value for the second signals based on identifying that the distance is less than a reference distance, obtaining an image including a visual object corresponding to the external object through a first camera based on the deviation information value being greater than or equal to a reference value, and obtaining the image including the visual object corresponding to the external object through a second camera according to a camera switching, based on the deviation information value being less than the reference value.

The memory according to an embodiment may include instructions which, when executed by the processor cause the AR device to determine at least one of a location, a posture, and a tilt of the electronic device, based on the identified watch face AR marker and the identified strap pointing marker. The memory according to an embodiment may include instructions which, when executed by the processor cause the AR device to output AR information corresponding to the posture or tilt, based on the location of the electronic device.

Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a foldable housing; a display; an illuminance sensor; a state detection sensor; a memory; and a processor. Based on data received from the state detection sensor, the portable electronic device is recognized to be in the folded state. Responsive to the portable electronic device being in a calibration trigger state which includes the folded state, a first image is displayed in a sensor area of a first display area located on the illuminance sensor, and a second image is displayed in an area of the second display area facing the sensor area. An illuminance value is calculated based on data received from the illuminance sensor while the first image and the second image are displayed, and then compared to a reference value stored in the memory to calculate a calibration value for calibrating measured illuminance values of the illuminance sensor.
