摘要: An approach is provided for detecting road features. The approach, for example, involves receiving image data associated with one or more road features. The received image data may be associated with ground truth label data corresponding to the one or more road features. The approach further involves determining a set of shadowed regions from one or more images of the received image data. The approach further involves generating artificial shadow data based on the determined set of shadowed regions. The approach further involves augmenting the image data with the generated artificial shadow data by applying the generated artificial shadow data to the received image data. The approach further involves training a machine learning (ML) model based on the augmented image data and the ground truth label data. The ML model is trained to detect the one or more road features.

The medical image translation apparatus receives a first medical image and translates the first medical image into a second medical image through an image translation model. The first medical image is a two-dimensional (2D) medical image, and the second medical image is a 2D medical image obtained by reconstructing a brightness value of each of pixels of the first medical image while maintaining a structure shown in the first medical image. The image translation model is a model implemented with an artificial neural network that reflects and outputs a feature of a brightness value of each of pixels of a reference image trained in a training process in a 2D medical image.

The processor is configured to: receive the image(s) and a library of tag types; using the image(s), determine feature metrics using a machine learning algorithm and is based on an image processing, manipulation, and/or correction; using the feature metrics and the library of tag types, determine a tag type of the tag(s) in the image(s) based on a local maxima determination, a bounding box generation, a tag candidate patch extraction, a tag candidate segmentation, a tag candidate feature metric determination, and/or a comparison to a model; determine a confidence level of the tag type; and in response to the confidence level being above a threshold level, provide the tag type determined.

摘要: A sky sensor device for measuring direct normal illuminance (DNE) value is described. One method controls a camera sensor to capture a series of exposure-bracketed images having a first dynamic range and generate an image from the series of exposure-bracketed images, the image having a second dynamic range higher than the first dynamic range. The method controls an illuminance sensor to measure a global illuminance value. The method determines a global horizontal diffuse value based on at least the image. The method determines a direct normal illuminance (DNE) value using the global illuminance value and the global horizontal diffuse value.

The AR display device includes a frame to be worn on a head of a user and a lens disposed within the frame. A user is to view a physical scene through the lens. The lens includes multiple regions. Each region is individually addressable and has a tint value that is individually adjustable. The AR display device also includes an input to receive virtual content to be presented on the lens and an imaging system to present the virtual content on the lens. The AR display device also includes a controller which 1) identifies a first region of the lens on which the virtual content is to be presented and 2) selectively adjusts a tint of the first region while suppressing a tint adjustment to a second region of the transparent lens.

摘要: A system for detecting a surface type of an object includes a driver component, a driver component, and a plurality of photosensitive elements. The surface of the object is divided along a first direction into a plurality of areas, and the driver component sequentially moves one of the plurality of areas to a detection position. The light source component faces the detection position and provides light of a plurality of spectra that are different from one another to illuminate the detection position. The photosensitive elements face different sections of the area at the detection position, to capture detection images of different sections of the area located at the detection position under the light of each of the spectra. One photosensitive axis of the photosensitive elements is parallel to the normal line while another photosensitive axis of the photosensitive elements is between the normal line and the first direction.

The image-processing device defines a three-dimensional bounding box of the object in the three-dimensional model. The image-processing device defines a centre coordinate in the three-dimensional model and a colour value of surface elements of the three-dimensional bounding box. The image-processing device determines a three-dimensional coordinate of a surface in the three-dimensional model which reflects light from a surface element into the camera, by tracing rays from the centre coordinate and based on a normal of the surface. The image-processing device further identifies a first pixel in the image frame corresponding to the three-dimensional coordinate and detects the reflection of the object.
